Selina Baños

Location is spectacular since it is central and everything is close. The hotel has good facilities and the Rooftop has a wonderful view. I really enjoyed the stay.

I have stayed in Selina many times and I really love how they remodel the hostel, the common area makes way easier to meet people and is so beautiful, definitely I’m going to be back every time I have the chance.

Selina Banos was my 10th Selina location and fully reinforced why I am so loyal and committed to this incredible community. From the moment I walked in the door, Jose Naranjo, Betty, and the team made me feel right at home. At every turn, Jose worked hard to ensure that I could have the once in a lifetime experiences Banos offers around my busy work schedule, even going the extra mile to coordinate personal tours, suggest modifications, and make sure my dollar stretched as far as possible. In addition to providing an incredible concierge experience, we also became friends and enjoyed some great conversations. Thank you Jose for making me feel right at home, even half a world away. Excited for you to visit Chicago someday!

In addition to Jose, Betty provided incredible service every morning at the rooftop restaurant, going the extra mile with her kindness, delicious banana bread, and hot coffee con azucar!

I would recommend Selina Banos 10/10 and look forward to returning someday in the future. Thank you all so much for an incredible experience - grateful to be part of this community and to have experienced so much while working this past week.

We have received a standard room with a mold at the ceiling and after talking to the reception we have been able to change the room without any problem!

Cool rooftop bar with a nice view! As well very cool atmosphere with possible to work from the hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff! Nice food and drinks at the rooftop bar!

I’m very happy I chose this hostel for my stay in Baños. I slept in a four bed dorm with one room mate. The beds were very clean, the employees very helpful. My highlight was the breakfast, which in the case of Sunday is an All You Can Eat.
This is the choice if you’re staying in Baños.

We are at the rooftop restaurant first with friends and then on our own not as guests of the hotel. They had amazing Shakshuka and banana bread. We would highly suggest coming here for wonderful food and ambiance. Our friends who were staying at the hotel also enjoyed their stay. When we come back to Baños we will be back here!

Fantastic front desk service, Camilo Bravo was very friendly, energetic and full of great advice. After a long day of travel Camilo helped ease the lodging and made us feel welcome. Our room key was lost by staff so Camilo was quick to find us a new room and helped us move. The company Selina hires quality employees and Camilo is one of them!

I had some of my best experiences during my stay at Selina in Baños. The people really made it become my home for the time being. The staff is super nice and take you in, as if you were part of the little family. Especially Adriana who is responsible for all the activities made this time unforgettable. Not only the events such as the family dinners and parties were awesome but also did she make effort to do special trips with the guests. You will never forget the time spend with her and definitely not the parties.

What a wonderful, incredibly welcoming and amazing space. The staff was beyond helpful (Aly and Joyce were amazing and so friendly - Aly is literally the perfect person to be creating experiences there, and Joyce can solve literally any problem).

From helping me with office things (great coworking space that was super flexible on time and hours) to letting me teach an acro class, to being available for anything and everything, they’re there because they love people, the area, and genuinely want your experience to be great.

The welcome drink is delicious, the salsa class was great, they’re incredibly flexible (I decided to do an overnight hike and they moved my booking a day to accommodate me) and so much more. What else can i say? Backdrop of a waterfall?

I think you get the idea. Definitely stay here for a chill experience all the way :)

Nice rooms. They offer a rooftop bar/restaurant really incredible. Great food and really good service.

The staff is very friendly, they will help you with everything, the rooms and facilities are beautiful and have all that you need in a hostel. There are also a lot of activities that are organized by the staff, which creates a familiar atmosphere and good vibes. I would recommend this hostel to everyone, especially to digital nomads (because of the coworking space) and people who like to have a good time and make new friends.

Had a great week-long stay here. The staff were really nice and the dance class and bar crawl were a lot of fun! A big thank you to Jose at the front desk for all his help throughout my stay.

I have really enjoyed my time at Selina Baños. The rooms are clean - and the common areas are so nice!
But what really makes Selina Baños special is the staff. They are always super friendly and helpful. Especially Adrianna, who is in charge of arranging the party bus and other activities for the guest, is super professional. He makes the activities ten times more fun and makes sure to include everybody. This hostel definitely feels like a second home. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Baños! 🤞🏻

Very surprised at the reviews here. Had a really good experience here. The staff were really helpful, one receptionist rang the bus station on her personal phone to confirm bus times with us. Dorms were really clean and spacious, and bathrooms were nice too. The breakfast upstairs was just OK, but everything else was awesome.

Selina was absolutely PERFECT!!! Not only was it gorgeous, had all the amenities you need, and was extremely clean, it was the staff that blew us away. They were all incredible and helped us with absolutely anything we asked. They became good friends of ours. Loved loved loved the Selina!!

Amazingly friendly staff, made you feel very welcome! The hostel just opened, so everything is super fresh & clean with comfy beds. Great help with booking tours. Nice bar. Delicious and big breakfast available. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I just had such a magical stay at this hostel. Shoutout to the staff (especially Johnny, Jose, Jorge and Anthony) for being so fun, kind and proactive with ensuring that my friends and I had a good stay! They had plenty of local recommendations, called many cabs for us (including arranging a safe ride for me back to Quito), were friendly, charming and made us feel at home. The salsa, bachata and cumbia lesson night with Anthony was a highlight, as was morning yoga with Gaby. 😊 In addition to the awesome customer service and activities, my room had a beautiful view of a waterfall, was large and extremely clean. Plus, the co-working space is was exactly what I needed to get work done.

I LOVED SELINA BAÑOS. This is the greatest group of people ever, especially Johnny!! The staff is so involved in making sure everyone has a great time. John even taught me how to salsa too! I stayed 2 weeks in the 10 bedroom dorm and has no problems sleeping. It was pretty clean for a hostel. The wifi was great, the breakfast was amazing, and it felt safe. All I could ask for! Lastly, this was the best location in Baños, near the main strip of restaurants and bars, and of course walking distance to bridge jumping. Stay here!
