Café del Cielo

Visited the cafe for an early lunch/brunch. Service was excellent the view us absolutely beautiful. For us, it was a great place to hide from the mid-day sun and still enjoy the view. Their menu is delicious. Do not underestimate their portions. It is also nice to walk around the grounds. It is a very well built and nice environment. If you like whipped cream, make sure to drink a cappuccino del cielo!

The cevichochos are one of the most flavorful ones I have had in Ecuador.

We went on a Monday morning and it was very quiet. The menu was on a tablet in English or Spanish. At first they couldn't make me an iced caramel coffee but they went to the storage unit and found a new bottle so I could get the drink I wanted. There was even a few coffee beans floating around. Also great photo ops and beautiful flowers. Staff was very friendly and Volcán pancakes were perfect with a berry compote and cream layered between 3 fluffy light pancakes. Highly recommended for the views, service, atmosphere and food.

Hidden gem… I had the amazing time on the top of the mountain when we found this restaurant. The view is breathtaking and the food is great. We had already ate earlier so we were looking for something sweet and this was a great find. The desserts were sooo good and fresh. Service was also top notch. If you’re ever in Baños this is a great stop.

This was the second time I came to this café after an initial visit 2 years ago and it's even better than I remembered. The service is excellent, the atmosphere wonderful and the views completely beyond description. Even the toilets are luxuriously pristine. I'd recommend going in the morning for the best chance of clear weather.

One of Ecuador's best destinations to explore and being in contact with nature. The scenery from this spot is breathtaking, with a welcoming and supportive staff, and an excellent atmosphere. Food was delicious, I would definitely recommend to order tostada's Runtún, natural juices and coffee.

You can hike up from town in about an hour in time for 0730 opening.

This was quite the hidden gem.
A beautiful little cafe tucked into the forest up on the hills.
The vegan sandwich and salad were very tasty and the service was on point.

Hiked up from Banos in about 45 minutes.. well worth the trip, an incredible menu and stunning view. This is a MUST on your trip to Banos.

A great spot sit above the clouds and view banos. The drinks and food are all amazing, it's not the cheapest place around but is worth every penny.

I visit this amazing place 1 year ago with my family, his view is beautifull, you can see the colorfull landscapes, also the sweet food always is delicious, as well have a sophisticated and original decoration, these place is located near of a big volcano.
