Authentic restaurant which is combined with museum. Service was welcoming and attentive. Dumplings were average but good. Potatoes with homemade cutlet were nourishing and more than enough for a lady. Thank you for a great athmosphere and service!

We were just passing by with friends and were looking for a place to have something to eat. This place was over our expectations. They offer quite simple dishes, but feel very homemade and tasty. Although the dumplings were nothing special, the dessert "Eesti soo" ("Estonian bog") was very suprising! Such a cool idea, to combine these very estonian flavours in that way. Looked very neat and was very tasty as well. I liked their homemade lemonade as well. As a bonus, the staff was super friendly and the prices were reasonable as well.

Russian era house converted to restaurant, serving Russian food and selling memorabilia.

Best avoid the cheese dishes - maybe too much cheese but of course depends on your tastes .

Daily special, was tasty goulash when there. Most dishes served with a choice of potatoes - roast or boiled.

Desert very good, and good beer as well 🍻

Absolutely excellent place to eat in Paldiski. I walked in right after a tourist bus unloaded about 50 people for lunch.
Needless to say, that the service personnel was quite busy. Yet, there found a table for me and served an absolute great meal. Prices are more that reasonable. Thank you very much for your service and hospitality. Highly recommend.

The place you should visit!
Super great food: Russian cuisine prevails: I recommend you to try “Russian Pelmeni” and “Vareniki”. “Buzenina” is good as well! We asked for a local beer and herbal tea for!
They serve fast but please note: cash only!

Good design and with their own small historical museum- (near WC) you will stop by and sped some time as it’s quite interesting!

Kids menu is available!

Very cosy place to be honest!
5stars!

A decent place to have your lunch in the port town of Paldiski. Charming historic building which was apparently built as a toll House in the times of tzar Peter the Great. Visited by russian tzar Nicholas during his visit to Paldiski.
Lovely home style soups snacks and main courses served in a very friendly manner.
The other feature that may be of an interest is a small historic weapons museum situated above the tavern.

Really historical and interesting place. Soup was great and in general this place was clean and fresh.

Peter the Great founded Paldiski harbour and it was completed 1768. The harbor town was built of prisoners. The maltreatment of them was so wide that Paldiski was given a notorious nickname “the second Siberia”.

There was a Customs Point in this medieval house, where traders declared their goods.

Upstairs there is a small photo museum with old pictures from Paldiski. Also several interesting books and some small display of swords.

Service was good in general but I didn't understand why I couldn't pay with card, only cash accepted. Hopefully they fixed this.

We went to Paldiski as part of the event, and borscht soup was also offered at the end of the event. Although I don't normally eat borsch soup, this was super good and well made. People of Russian nationality are good at making this soup. At least in this restaurant.

Stopped with a friend for lunch before a walk to the lighthouse. Quirky place with great, simple food and a Sword Museum upstairs! Really great.

Fantastic cosy place to have dinner, lunch or even party of your own. Russian kitchen with local and seasonal additions. Tastes are authentic and clean. Fresh local produce. Do try local made mushrooms or pickled tomatoes. Highly recommended.

It is a great pleasure that people collect things that they will never use in their lives. But they are very interested in showing it to other generations. Nice place, with a great atmosphere. Thanks for the great story.
