Glehn park

Cold but lovely walk through the park. Were very happy to find a cafe where we could get a drink and warm up!
From Tallinn, we got bus numbers 36 & 10 to one side of the park, walked through the park and got the 20a all the way back from the other side.

A beautiful, quiet (maybe not on the weekends), relaxing park, which is located in a green suburb southwest of Tallinn. From the railway station the train takes 15mins to Hiiu station and then you just need to walk 10-15min through a forested neighbourhood with lovely wooden houses. Enjoyable stroll.

Wonderful park that has many books and crannies to explore

You may use it as a beginning for your sporting habits or just look around to see the sculptures and buildings the founder of Nõmme and lord of the manor once built. Small forest with fresh air, pines and blueberries when in season.
By car you may park down the hill next to ski sporting centre or by Trummi street, and then follow the stairs behind the fence of the centre.

You can see stars, you can sit on crocodile,meet Kalevipoeg and walk a nice routes trough park. Who was Glehn? Go there and check it yourself. If you are close to this place - must visit! Gem !

Wonderful recreational area close to Tallinn University of Technology (aka TalTech). See the Glehn’s castle, the Palm House, the Observatory, the Crocodile and the Kalevipoeg (some call it Glehn’s Devil) statute. Take your MTB/cyclocross bike or go for a run/walk

The park features stone-made sculptures and a weird orangery house, astronomic observatory tower, berries in the forest, open-air swimming pool, tall ski-jump, jogging, walking and skiing paths equipped with street lights and more...

Very clean but a lot of ants

So amazing park to rest. Also biggest recreational park in Tallinn area. Perfect for active sports.

Worth to visit even if you are a tourist (locals walk here every day) For ex-USSR people will be of interest that here is one of Baskervilles castle pictured.

Great place. Nõmme park. Medieval castle. Can spend whole day here.
