Aurora Oriental Resort

I spent a week here with my mum and we absolutely loved it. The staff all went above and beyond on ALL departments. The food was beautiful and there was plenty of different options every day - we did not find it repetitive. Lots of options for drinks, great entertainment, A la carte options, 5 swimming pools and a private beach! We had something different to do everyday

The rooms and hotel were clean and well kept, the staff worked hard to keep this hotel looking lovely as well as making guests happy.

We will definitely be returning here.

First time at this hotel and it is more than we expected. Very friendly at reception on arrival with a welcome drink. Rooms are a great size with a massive bed, outside balcony fabulous. Every single member of staff take care of your every need what more could you ask for. Food is amazing, you always find something different at every meal time. Karim (I hope that's his name, apologies if not) makes amazing pasta dishes, never quite the same as his when made by someone else. The hotel is within easy access to shopping areas and of course Soho Square. Hotel Managers are there if you have any concerns to make your holiday go as smoothly as possible. The gardens are well looked after, lots of work done to keep them looking so fabulous. Thank you for a fabulous first week's holiday looking forward to our second week. I visited Auoura as part of a last minute trip with a friend and we hands down had the best time here. The hotel is lovely, all the pools and private beach are wonderful. The entertainment team and staff looked after us so well when we did activities or went out together. Would highly recommend.

Myself and daughter stayed here for a week and absolutely loved our stay. The staff just go above and beyond on all departments, they can't do enough for you. The hotel has plenty to do for everyone and lots of pools to choose from. The food was fantastic and every evening offered something different and plenty of variety. I would return to Aurora without a doubt

Clean, plenty of pools, food great, drinks ok, staff fab, location is very good although please note it has very shallow beach but you can snorkel from the end of pier.
You can arrange excursion and diving ( guy called Jamal by beach SeaWorld diving centre is great) lastly, their massage and spa is worth every penny.

Aurora Oriental resort… I have had a wonderful experience staying here. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful.. And I must say the animation team are very energetic and fun and really try to get you involved in all activities.. Luca is my favorite we have had good conversations and lots of laughs.. I would definitely come back here….

Nice hotel.
The employees are great with children (or super super super fantastic according to my 2 daughters)
The all inclusive buffey is very nice and the Beach is very close.
Just a short bus trip from the airport.
Would travel there again.

Spent 9 days here. We have had the best time. The animation team were amazing. Food delicious and plenty of choice. Clean spacious rooms. Already coming back next year

Excellent service and stay here.
Watched the animation crew each day, didn’t take part though.
The entertainment in the evening was great even though there were not many guests here in the hotel.

Very clean hotel, most professional, helpful staff. There are many and different size swimming pool and all of them is clean and enjoyable. Foods are more delicious and more variety.
Animation team is very friendly and they have lots of events. Especially I thanked to Mr Ahmedbo Yazid from animation team.
Definitely I will come again.
Highly recommended.

It was very nice all the staff was amazing great for family’s with children as they provide a lot of activities through the day have a amazing list of drinks and food to choose from

Went 1 Nov to 11 Nov 23. it was 33 degrees day time temp. Good meals throughout the day. Not a lot of choice for children's meals. All staff very friendly in the hotel. Just a bit of a pain shopping you couldn't go past a shop without being nagged to go inside the shop. No prices on any goods in the shops which if you like bartering it's good fun even if you make a purchase or not, shop keepers friendly and have good banter weather you bought anything or not. Booked to go again while we were there to go Nov 24.

Luca and the rest of the animation team were superb, kept everyone very energetic and plenty to do.

We (2 female travellers) went to this hotel from 4 to 14 November 2023. We flew from Manchester airport, UK. The tour operator we used was easyJet and we had a private transfer from the airport in Sharm El Sheikh to the hotel which was great (highly recommend it).

Aurora Oriental is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean. The gardens are attended to constantly and the flowers are so beautiful. It's very well designed and laid out.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a wardrobe and shelves, a dressing table with mirror, a full length mirror, a table between the beds and a table and chairs in the corner. There is a patio door to outside. We had a pool view room and were at the poolside in 1 minute.

There is a hairdryer in the bathroom which is the usual built in one you find in leisure centres etc here. there was a shower over a bath, WC and bidet attachment. Shower gels and shampoos were provided if you wanted to use them. Tip: we take our own small and very lightweight non slip mat as hotels never provide these, it was very useful in the bath. An iron can be requested

There is a cleaner (man-maid) every day who replenishes toilet tissue and drinking water. He makes the beds and replaces towels if you leave them on the floor. Sweeps and mops the floor.

We had a great time.

Staff can't do enough to help you. They're friendly and informative. There's always someone around to help day and night.

There were always plenty of sun loungers and someone to help set up parasols and tables for you.

The pools are lovely and always clean. There are well stocked bars and snacks at each one including the beach itself. You can get clean beach towels daily. Nice big fluffy ones!

The entertainment staff are great fun and very friendly, they do their best to ensure that you have a really great time. Zumba in the pool is fun as was the balloon party in the pool, join in it's fun.

Some tips for while you're there if you're traveling from the UK:

Take British money for the most part as it's better than US dollars in shops etc, always haggle in the shops. If you're leaving tips then dollars are good for this as British notes are a bit expensive for tips on a day to day basis and coins aren't accepted in Egyptian banks so don't make good tips. Tip packs are available to buy from Tesco in the UK before you go and are small denomination US dollar notes. You can help the guys out by changing British pound coins into £5 and £10 notes, their banks don't take British coins but people leave them as tips so when they have enough you might be asked if you can change them. I was very happy to help. No skin off my nose after all.

There was a variety of hot/cold food to suit everyone. We were looked after so well by the staff in the restaurants. One waiter Mohammed el Nagar looked after us every day, he was kind, helpful and attentive, a true gentleman, even concerned the day we disappeared when we went to Cairo. There is a lovely personal touch here despite the hotel size. Another was a young man named Karim who was on the live grill and answered any questions we had about the food, I'm sure you have a great future ahead of you Karim and wish you all the luck in the world. If you see this Aurora please pass this on as encouragement is important for young people who work hard, they're the future for the hotels.

There's a great jeweller in the hotel near reception. The man there is a real gentleman and has some beautiful pieces you won't see elsewhere. He has new stock all the time.

The reception(ist) and electricians who helped us after a huge thunderstorm knocked out lights and aircon in our room in the early hours, they were there within a few minutes of our call.

Also all those whose names we don't know but who all helped make it a great holiday.

The staff are quiet natured, gentle, humble and so so well mannered, they're a breath of fresh air.

I'd return in a heartbeat.

Clean and well maintained facilities.
Good and varied selection of foods at breakfast, supper and dinner.
Plenty of sun beds and pools at several locations, including one on the side at the front, in the back at the main restaurant, and halfway down to the beach, including a heated one.
The animation team (only present on the beach) isn’t too pushy, and they do a good job engaging with the guests.

Stayed here late June 2023 for two weeks with my wife. Wonderful resort. Amazing staff that make your stay that little bit more special. The Beach is stunning and snorkeling off the jetty just perfect. Nice pools and reasonable food. Rooms are large and comfortable. Would highly recommend and we will be back.
