Solymar Naama Bay Hotel

We visited Sol Y Mar for the first time and I must say, it was a great experience. The hotel staff was so considerate and wonderful to us. Everything was always clean, we were given big bottles of clean water every day, nobody was pushy or disrespectful. The animation team made a sincere connection to all the guests and made sure everybody feels entertained and safe at all times. Food was versatile and clean! We were very much afraid to catch a stomach bug but by the end of the trip we had tried everything from the buffet and were very happy. A special thanks to the managers of all areas! They were so professional and kind. Always made sure that the staff was doing their very best work. Everybody smiled, no one was rude and the hotel atmosphere itself was exceptionally beautiful, especially the garden. They really put a lot of effort into making the garden look instagrammable from every corner. Thank you for everything, Sol Y Mar crew! We will definitely come back.

Rooms big and airy hair dryer kettle air conditioning everything you need there great staff and friendly.
The shower is a bit dated and small apart from that the food is good and tasty 😋
Not much entertainment 😕 but we were out most of the time shuttle bus every morning to the beach Free really enjoyed and going back again already booked for this hotel for our next holiday

Lovely place for a good and quite rest. Nice and hospitable staff, tasty food. We enjoyed the mini bar in the pool 😅 walking distance to Naama Bay with shops, cafes and clubs. The hotel is really nice itself as it is not big and area is really good. We had lots of fun with the animation team and loved every minute of the stay!

Great hotel, clean and tidy. We'll kept outside areas. Restaurant staff fantastic and a good range of food. Short walk to nearest beach or a free shuttle bus to another beach. Reception staff happy and helpful. Room service of high quality. We had a great stay. Thank you

The staff were friendly and well mannered even with the language barrier, special shout-out to Ahmed at reception; they helped and assisted when needed. The bar was a bit bland and there was a lack of variety with the drink selection (no menu). The hotel was frequented by families and older couples so this is a good place to come for a family holiday. Me and my girlfriend are young (22), so we needed a little more in terms of the party side. The pool was amazing with good scenery but again the music was more suited for families and older couples. The rooms were nice and the view from the pool balcony was good, however the bathrooms are a little dated and the showers slightly cramped. The resort entertainment was good and food selection was delicious with a variety for all types of eaters. There was only wifi in the lobby which did not stretch into the rooms, but luckily or should I say conveniently, there were SIM cards on sale within the resort shops.

Just leaving after 3 weeks in roomb1203. Yes the rooms are tired but everything works. Our room was spotless with clean bed linen, towels and shower curtain every day if wanted. Food was plentiful and although buffet style it was put up in small quantities and always hot. The 2 gala dinners we had for Christmas eve and new year's eve were out standing. All the staff were always on hand and nothing was too much trouble.special mention must go to Wageh he ran the pool bar mostly on his own with a smile on his face at all time even when dealing with difficult clients. This is a small well run hotel that the service was 6 star. Most definitely coming back. See you soon

Simply the best hotel for the price we have been to in Sharm.
Location to Nama Bay is ideal 10 min stroll.
Beds very comfy and super clean bedding.
Room cleaned every day
Food is lovely show cooking everyday, bedouin bread made at evening meal sweets are terrific and the staff are all a credit to the hotel.

That was a really good choice to stay there! The territory was very clean and well designed, with many plants and flowers, the food was delicious and the stuff was very friendly. They also have a free shuttle to the beach, although it’s only 20 min walking. We felt very welcomed there

Although the rooms are a little dated our experience wasn't affected in any way. The hospitality that we received during our stay has to be the best that I have ever experienced in any hotel. Unfortunately during our stay I had a fall due to my own clumsiness, but the way they went out of their way to ensure that I was ok and looked after cannot be faulted. It was the little things that they noticed that really had a big impact on our experience. From noticing what juice I drank at breakfast and bringing it to my table for me, remembering what drink I had at the bar and bringing it to me without being asked, noticing that I hadn't gone for lunch and bringing lunch to me at the pool. The restaurant staff were very attentive and cleared finished plates etc so efficiently, you literally blinked and the table was cleared. Although some people may feel that there isn't much choice of food in the restaurant, what choice there was was cooked so well. They have the most incredible pastry chef whose puddings were amazing in both presentation and taste, unfortunately just one was never enough. On our first full day we were offered a 15 minute complimentary massage and the ladies there were incredible. During that massage the ladies picked up on both my partner and I having health issues and we were offered additional massages, there is an extra charge for this. Both my partner and I decided that we would take up this offer, and I for one am so glad that I did. My initial session consisted of a full body scrub, followed by 5 days of full body massages and they were out of this world. Although there was a slight language barrier they were able to detect which parts of my body needed the massage the most, I have never felt so pampered. This holiday was the relaxing holiday that I needed and not once was I made to feel that I was an inconvenience, nothing ever felt like it was too much trouble. I will definitely be making a return visit.

Excellent personnel: attentive and helpful. Nice cuisine. Vegan friends couldn't eat anything besides fruit on breakfast, but forgave everything because of good lunches and dinners. Powerful air conditioning in the room. The beach is quite far (20-30mins walk), but shuttles are organized to get there.

Delicious food, good variety, coffee from a good coffee machine at the breakfast.
The staff is amazing, especially the waiters are so attentive, it's a level of high-class hotel!
They deserve really good tips for their service, please reward them appropriately.
Rooms and hotel are decorated in amazing Arabic style.
Would love to return again and experience that hospitality!

I have to say I have stayed in many hotels, but as far as the staff and the service we received was the best we have had! The staff are always happy and pleasant and will go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome! The only thing I can mention is the rooms are a little dated, and the shower was very small which resulted in water flooding the bathroom! We will definitely come back to your hotel as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you!
