Camping Sopalmo

We stayed here about 2 weeks ago. Such a friendly welcome from Simone & his wife. Loved this friendly, smaller campsite. Had a choice of pitches too. Has everything you need for a superb holiday, only 10 minute drive from the stunning front in Mojacar.

A great, small well run camping car site 3 or 4 miles outside Mojacar. Good shower/toilet facilities

This has been the lovliest camp so far, quiet and extremely clean, with super friendy owners. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. If you prefer pools, kids' animation, music & bars, it's not for you. You can find all that in the nearby Mojacar, just a few minutes away, with its long, sandy beaches, shops and restaurants.

This is another oasis. it's quiet, clean, friendly and good value for money.
The people who run it are helpful and kind. it's a short drive to some nice beaches.
There are a lot of trees but it needs more to get really good cover.

Loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. Need a car to appreciate it better. Great pitches roomy, shady. Clean wc and shower facilities on hand incl. Washing machine. Grey and black water outlets and water. Nice bar and reception with library. Definitely come again

A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX
Humble campsite reasonably close to Mojácar in a quiet place. The owners are very friendly and the neighbors are educated people. Rest schedules are respected. A great place to go if you want to rest and enjoy the nature.

I didn't want to leave this place. It is small - 27 pitches. 3pin electric hook-up, all the usual central services, spotless toilet, shower and wash up facilities. There are pitches at two levels on the site just above the road adjacent to a wide rambla. You are in the hills covered in Mediterranian grey/green scrub - matorral or tomillares for this part of Spain.
Prices vary on a sliding scale with the length of time that you spend there. €8/night for at least 91nights, €15/night 1-3 nights + daily electric charge €3.
Some arrive in October and leave in March. We spent an all too short 3 nights. Very friendly welcome. Other campers are fantastically welcoming. Bar opens once a week on Fridays. Come stocked up. There's no shop within 10km. Mercadonas at Carboneres. There are two bars in Sopalmo village.
There are trails and tracks up into the hills of various length and difficulty for walking or cycling. Trails, via two main ramblas, lead down to the coast. If you want entertainment then don't come here. If you want peace, quiet and tranquility and to become part of the landscape, look no further. Cockerels are noisy in the mornings.8

i visit in low seadon and have done for a few years now. the owners and family are caring people and the site is well kept. There is a winter international "family" of friends who return each year and enjoy the site and local amenities. can be well enjoyed by all.

Gorgeous peaceful site. The location is perfect for discovering the beautiful mountains and beaches of Cabo de Gata. Very clean facilities, great value for money, lovely friendly owner. We camped and it was bliss.

Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and helpful campsite manager. Simple sanitary, but adequate. Roy.

Clean, carefully looked after, small campsite and good sized pitches near quiet beaches even in August, great for kayaking and snorkeling.

We love the place, lovely people, clean, good price, great location, sad we stayed only for 2 days, highly recommended.

Deserve 5 stars. THE BEST CAMPING AND VERY VERY VERY CLEAN , especially in the toillets.
