Not the easiest to get to but the food was great. Every dish we ordered was delicious and cooked well. We had the clams, scallops, crab gratin and sole muniere and chocolate mousse for dessert. Standouts were the clams (plump and juicy) and the sole (buttery and delicious).

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for over a year now, and it was well worth the waiting.
We dinned here for my fiancée's birthday, and it was exactly what we were hoping for.

The service from the team was great - always helpful and with a smile, the food was delicious, the price was absolutely on point for the quality of the the food - not overpriced, and the location on the water's edge is just marvellous.

We'll be back!

Another suggestion from a friend that didn’t disappoint.

The seafood was super fresh and tasty. The wine list complimented the food and the service was great.

If you are planning on eating there, definitely get the boat over from Pasai San Pedro

Amazing place, especially if you take a hike around with mountains views after to have the lunch there feels like paradise! Great fresh seafood with a bit higher prices, but worth it. Take the freshly caught fish not from the menu and clams! Delicious!!

Unique restaurant, where you can feel that you travel back in time. in the 1800s, the seafood is extremely fresh, live lobster is the highlight and the cooking lets the produce shines.
Maialen is friendly and great customer service.

Unbeatable, wholesome seafood and a true highlight of our week. The seafood paella was the best we have had; the scallops (served as 6) were fresh and divine; and the generous portion 12x croquettes were wholesome and scrumptious (perfectly “fluffy”). A must book in advance restaurant; we were fortunate to have been slotted in via the waitlist due to a cancellation; a special accolade to exceptional customer service guiding us to reach Casa Camara restaurant safely by boat. Incredibly memorable experience with our table and beautiful view of the sea. Enjoy a short hike or walk with captivating views of the seafront after the restaurant (as you leave turn left).

Simply amazing that they bring out the seafood fresh from within the restaurant. I ordered the lobster, brought me two to chose from and was exquisite. Best dish: calamari in their ink. Recommendation: make a reservation with time, limited seating available.

Great seafood.

I see many people ordering Paella, please do not commit the same mistake. Do not order Paella here as the dish is not authentic in this region although they are good.

Order anything from the sea, they are amazingly fresh. We had clam, lobster, razor clam, small shrimp, the shellfish; they are great.

For Lunch, The restaurant opens at 1:30pm

Casa Cámara feels like a throwback to the old world. The staff and food were amazing. The town of San Juan and Casa Cámara are worth the trip if you are in the area. The mixed grilled seafood is a must! Pair it with some Txakoli and you are in for a treat.

A bit far away from the busy area of the Centro but well worth the trip. Excellent sea food plates and nicely served. Make sure to reserve with plenty of time.

This was our second visit to Casa Camara, the previous time was 5 years ago. I just don't believe it was even better this time. The flavours were superb, the seafood was fresh, just a great experience we shared with family

We (family of five) visited Casa Camara on June 24, 2022. The food was excellent. We hiked from San Sebastian, and ended our hike with this wonderful meal. We liked the service very much, too. The waiters are not like slick trained Micheline types, but normal women with rather normal attitudes, which adds to the authenticity of the place. We had very warm and sincere relationship with our server.

I first went to Casa Camara in July of 2012, and the memory of that amazing meal is still fresh. The Basque obsession for ultimate quality product and the simple preparation of the dishes is their trademark style. Ran by the family for generations it’s one amazing experience.
