El Retiro

Brilliant hotel with really spacious rooms. They’re also very clean and clearly been recently updated (compared to most Spanish Hotels) got really good showers with a large shower head and good pressure. Rooms are large (stayed in a double which had plenty of room). Staff are also very friendly and they’ve got a nice little bar/ restaurant downstairs. Only thing would be to say it’s about a 20 min walk from the beach but it’s really not a difficult walk and fairly quick. Town is close by and lots of restaurants. There is a fantastic Italian called Capone very close. Honestly worth visiting great value and food. Wifi is also very very fast. Had a lovely coffee and cake whilst working remotely. Brilliant little place.

We only came to the restaurant, but the food was great, as was the service. Check out the secluded spot round the back away from the main restaurant for a bit of privacy, and where kids can have a bit of freedom in between courses.

It was pleasant surprise. The place was operated by family members. Survice was superb, room itself seemed as if it was traveled through time. Hard to explain nostalgic feel to it. Have antique yet clean and comfortable.
Our room had bathtub and most importantly price was only 35.

It was wonderful to try this new look and taste mixed grill. The evening meal was very much better value than the breakfast for the same price.

Located on the main coastal path of the Camino, El Retiro offers large spacious rooms, for 35 euro a piece (price of single and double room is the same). They have nice food in the cafeteria, even open on Sunday, and offer coffee starting 7 am.

Food was good and their sangria is the best I've ever tasted.

Comimos en el restaurante. Todo muy muy bueno y el servicio tambien muy bueno, especialmente el chico joven que nos atendio, fue muy amable y simpatico.

Que decir de este lugar, para nosotras a sido sorprendente. Un lugar que sin duda te hace sentir cómoda, y la comida... impresionante, tanto en cantidad como en sabor. Mis felicitaciones!!!

Fuimos a comer en familia, y a parte de la atención y el servicio, la comida estaba increíble. Producto de calidad en todo. Ha sido un gran descubrimiento. Sin duda recomendable 100%. Volveremos.

Por el precio está genial te limpian la habitación todos los días y lo hacen genial es una sola habitación pero lo recomiendo para unas vacaciones de 3-4 días.

Cenamos en el restaurante, todo buenísimo y el servicio encantador. Las navajas y los chipirones encebollados de diez! 👍

Sorprendido muy gratamente, un sitio que a priori no esperas grandes comodidades ya que tiene muy buen precio y una categoría baja y sin embargo te encuentras una comida excelente a un precio razonable muy buen servicio tanto en la barra como en la mesa y unas habitaciones muy amplias y limpias que no serán de diseño ultramoderno, pero cumplen a la perfección para dormir tan ricamente, lo recomiendo sin duda, relación calidad-precio excepcional

Estamos en nuestra 2a noche (reserva de 3 noche) y la verdad es que estamos encantados, camas cómodas , todo en buen estado, nuevo, cuarto amplio . Están siendo muy amables en todo momento, tanto en recepción, en el desayuno con Mary y el personal de limpieza.. ya lo que nos ha parecido increíble es como en 45 min de bajar a desayunar les ha dado tiempo a subir a nuestro cuarto y dejarlo arreglado.

Sorprendidos para bien, le agradecería diera esta enhorabuena por la profesionalidad a todo el equipo.

Sin duda un sitio de referencia para nosotros siempre que volvamos al área de Nigrán.
