Alberto & Miki were great hosts! Very clear communication, detailed directions for parking and check-in with a wonderful roof-top home-made breakfast. The room was small but comfortable with a beautiful Mountain View. Comfortable common areas for use added extra value to our stay. We recommend!

Fabulous little hotel in the heart of the old town. The entire place is immaculate with simply furnished but comfortable rooms. Roof terrace is a particular highlight when the weather is good, complete with honesty bar. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect for what my wife and I wanted. I was initially disappointed when I found out it was a continental breakfast, however, it was delicious every day. They had homemade croissants, homemade bread and freshly squeezed orange juice. I made sure I got up for breakfast because it was so nice and relaxing. Beautiful hotel and the sun terrace is well worth going up to in the evenings. I will definitely come back, thank you 😊

I spent a month exploring Spain and Portugal and the El Olivar stands out. The young couple that own this hotel provided an experience second to none. I was treated as if I was a guest in their home.
I became friends with a young labor attorney from Valencia and told her that she need to take her family to Mojacar and stay in the El Olivar as the town and the hotel is a magical place.

Found this little gem by a fluke..but what a gem it was. Stunning views, breakfast on the outside terrace, served by the lovely owner Alberto. Hotel is quirky and spotless, on suite bathroom.

One of the best places I have stayed so far. This family hostel is very friendly for any types of travellers. The breakfast is so delicious that you would want to have one more,again and again. The rooms are very clean and bright. The panoramic views from the terrace are invaluable! Even if you live far away, make sure you visit the place! You won't regret!!!

Had an AMAZING stay here! The owners are incredibly nice, the room and environment is exceptionally clean, the hostel has a very homey feeling, and they are very considerate about making your stay great. I will recommend this hostel to friends who plan to stay in Spain. There is a wonderful terrance with an amazing view and free breakfast was delicious. Thank You!

More than a hostel, it's more like a boutique hotel, attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and the bed absolutely comfortable. Perfectly placed in the centre of the village. Will definitely be back.

It’s more than a hostal! Location is great, rooms modern and the owners very friendly snd helpful. Walk to plenty of bars and restaurantes and quick drive to the beach. We will be back for sure.

Very friendly young French couple run this. Clean, centrally located, wonderful view from our room and breakfast. No greasy rubbish. Lift to bus into Mojacar which is only €1.20

We were there a few weeks ago in the off season which is our favourite time to travel before the hoards of riff raff decend on a town. We went to Mojacar because we wanted to see it last trip but ran out of time. We popped up at siesta time and we had made no reservations at all. We were waiting and met Jullen who came to do some things in the hostal, it wasn't any problem at all. He and is wife are French, and very friendly and a pleasure to stay with. Jullen was telling us over breakfast which was wonderful from the top terrace overlooking the West side of town, that his wife, although we didn't meet her, made all the jams fresh. They also renovated the whole place themselves. It is clean, bright rooms, we had a terrace, room 5 in fact. Since I am writing a review and not a novel, I shall leave it here, but if you want to stay in clean, nice place with great hosts. This is the place in Mojacar Pueblo.

Spent 2 and a half wonderful weeks in June 2013 at this beautiful Hostal in the magical village of Mojacar. Run by a wonderful young French couple whose hospitality and friendship was something I shall remember for the rest of my life. Situated overlooking the church square with friendly run bars a few yards away. The rooms are clean and colourful with modern en-suites, mini fridge and safe. Breakfast of fresh orange juice, coffee, tostada and pastries is served every morning on the terrace with breathtaking views over the village and mountains. Perfect for couples or families alike and certainly for the lone traveller like myself, If I return to Mojacar in the future I will without a doubt return to the El Olivar! Happy memories

Perfect hostel. The French couple who runs it make the best jam and croissants I've ever had. I'll totally come back. House and rooms are clean and perfect. 👌
