Abades La Roda

This place seems really geared up for large parties, though it was empty when we arrived. We used the cafe 'around the back' - near the burger king, which I expect is easily missed and a shame if you do as it is very friendly, with a massive choice of sandwiches (rolls) hot food, drinks etc. And, as I say, the staff were exceptionally friendly in explaining everything, such as they warm the rolls. Loads of parking, nice touches like usb charging points too at the raised tables. See the pictures . (they looked free to use)

Great place! Good food and amazing service from Rafa - who not only helped me with the kids but also offered to get the food for me from self service and serve it to me at the cafe! And if that wasn't enough he also came with coloring crayons and paper for both my kids! Highly recommended!

I've been all over the world and this is the best rest stop I've ever been to. Friendly people had great parking and it's right off the highway. The food was alone is worth stoping for. Fresh pasta cooked to order, braised beef and potatoes and roasted chicken with a ton of sammich options. Clean restrooms. I would give it 10 stars. Make sure to stop in and say hi to Anna and Rafa, great people.

American tourist on a bus tour. We pulled in here when it was more or less empty. Amazingly clean, a very friendly greeting from the staff, and spacious bathrooms. The women on the tour appreciated the first stop in a long time where they did not have to wait for a stall.

I got a cafe con leche avena, it was basically what you expect, perfectly serviceable. Lots of junk food and sodas available.

All in all this place was an unexpected pleasure among the roadside stops, which seem to have more of a tendency to disappoint than delight.

The facilities here are excellent and whilst very busy services they have lots of facilities and staff to cater for the large numbers. Cafeteria is also very good and nicely presented.
The toilets were very clean and well appointed, plenty of toilet paper too.
Very good in deed.

A great place for a quick stop when travelling. There is nothing not to like. Coffees and cookie were great. Staff were friendly and efficient. The toilets were plentiful and maintained to a very high standard. Very well run business 👏 👌

Convenient stopover. It's mostly self service but the food and coffee are fresh. You can also buy sandwiches and beverages to go. They have a huge restroom that can handle lots of tourists as there are many stalls in their restrooms!

This was an excellent, clean, inviting stop along the way. A couple cute shops with nice things, a convenience shop with food and drinks, a restaurant area and Burger King. The restrooms were clean and functioned as expected.

This place has fully refurbished and looks great! Fantastic with new decorations and all are new. Nice place to stop over for a meal or coffee. And wonderful place to shop for local products, especially olive oil products. Ample parking too

Great place to stop on your way to somewhere else. Staff were very friendly and patient with non-Spanish speaking tourists.

Superb stop on A92. As soon as we entered, off our motorbikes, we were met with a courteous, professional welcome by RAFA (in English). He could not have been more helpful. He was a complete credit to the place. Huge selection of food and drink was available at very reasonable prices. We left well fed and rested.
A big thank you again to Rafa for making our journey a pleasant one. 5 stars

Yesterday our motorcoach stopped at this service area and we disembarked for some lunch and rest. We were given great service by Rafael who took special care of my husband who has many food allergies. Rafael was able to translate the Spanish foods and ingredients for us and made a very special effort to have fish and vegetables cooked to his special order. We are thankful that we met such a kind and generous person.

Very good and tasty for fare price. Very pleasant and clean place. I would come here every day!

We stopped with a Gate One tour and had lunch. Rafael listened to my food alergy concerns, made more difficult because we spoke different languages, and then made a version of available lunch line dishes that omitted the foods to which I am allergic (and which were present in the selections available to others). I appreciate the extra effort he took to make it possible for me to eat a really nice meal without fear of an allergic reaction.
