My new favorite restaurant in Valladolid. Hands down, must do experience. The restaurant is right downtown and it feels like you’re eating right in a museum. I ordered the Lechazo Asado and it was made to PERFECTION. The restaurant staff was super friendly and professional and spoke both Spanish and English. Definitely recommend!

Great experience in Valladolid. Historic restaurant with paintings and wooden decorations. Very picturesque. Great cellar. Food is really good as the wine selection. Recommended cantabrico anchovies and steak.

Old school is the best school! If you’re looking for a classic local restaurant look no further! The Lechazo is phenomenal, perfectly cooked in a wood burning oven. Solid and well priced wine list. Plus the setting of the restaurant is perfect. It’s like eating in a museum.

Excellent experience, the restaurant was beautiful, it felt like eating in a castle, the waiters and hosts were great and the food spectacular! Kudos to them I will definitely come back!

Without exception the best lamb we have ever had! Every bite was exceptional, from the to die for Carpaccio Cecina con Bacalao to the lamb which I will dream of forever more, to the bread that was I think created solely to soak up the perfection of the lamb juices while keeping the crust crispy, to the simple side salad, which proves again that there is nothing better than good quality Spanish olive oil.
The decor is a pleasure to behold in a former convent, with baroque art and beautiful exposed stone walls.
Truly a spectacular experience!

Very nice experience, waiters are very -attentive, they advise you if you’re ordering too much, you also can share the portions, good spot even for kids, the restaurant is part of an old convent, so it’s labirintic rooms are quite cozy. A lovely wine cellar! Price range a bit high but you can share portions.

Very delicious food, incredible medieval decorations, excellent service. The signature dish is the lechazo (small lamb roasted) very fresh, one or two days maximum.

Wow what a place! Very historical, like a castle! Game of Thrones fans will like it here. Food was very good and wine superb!

A dining happening in the cellars of an old convent. Amazing Spanish food and a very hospitable and fast service. Very attentive. We had an enjoyable evening with my daughters Spanish family in law.

You have to try the suckling pig. Absolutely the best meal we had from our trip to Spain. A must try if in the area.

Wine selection is also very good!

The food was the best in Valladolid. Maybe even the best I’ve ever had in Spain.

We went to this restaurant in particular because I was told that they serve the best "lechazo" in Valladolid. I was not disappointed, the lechazo was exceptional. My friend had fish as a main dish and it was good. If you come here, be aware that the house speciality is meat. The place has a old-fashioned decoration (I like it a lot) and service was "Castilian style" meaning that is not like friendly on the contrary it is frugal; but this is a thing in the whole region.

Excellent quality of food in the most beautiful rooms. We had the lechazo, typical here, and it was phenomenal. If you go in the evening, order little. The lechazo for two is enough for three and even four.

The entire experience was perfect! Gracious and helpful staff, delicious food and an array of options. Highly recommend!
