Beautiful and original small church, covered in scallop shells. Originally, they covered a section of church with shells to prevent rain and humidity get into the church. Then, the covered the whole church with the shells. It is the only church full covered with scallop shells in the world.

Calm and soothing

Bonita, muy bonita iglesia en la isla de la Toja. Su principal peculiaridad se refiere a su exterior, totalmente recubierta de conchas. Su interior es acogedor y conserva su sabor marinero. Merece mucho la pena la visita y aprovechar para pasear por la isla.

Bonita Iglesia con la curiosidad del uso de las conchas de las peregrinas para evitar los problemas que había de humedad por las lluvias! Así hacían que se escurriera el agua y no entrará la humedad, colocadas como escamas de pescado!
