The southern tower of these 2 imposing towers at the side of this masterpiece of Architecture.
All Plaza de Espana is an amazing masterpiece of Architecture, one of the top 3 most beautiful and interesting landmarks in Sevilla and probably one of the top 10 in all Spain.
Once there we felt we had to be back several times and at different times of the day and especially at night to fully enjoy it, just take a look at the pictures.
And...do not miss it.

It's a magnificent place where you MUST go and have the time to travel into time, tranapketed by this architecture and birds sounds.

I strongly recommend to go as early as possible and study the history of Plaza España first.

Lovley tiles that we've found out are called azulejos, an Arabic word meaning polished stone. Seville is famous for these and has been making them since the 13th century.

La Torre Sur es una de las dos torres que se encuentran en los laterales de La Plaza de España y es gemela a la Torre Norte.
La Plaza España es un espectáculo de luz y majestuosidad. Encuadrada en el Parque de María Luisa, esta plaza fue diseñada por el gran arquitecto sevillano Aníbal González como espacio emblemático de la Exposición Iberoamericana de 1929. El resultado fue una plaza-palacio única en el mundo. Sus proporciones son fastuosas; cuenta con una superficie total de 50.000 metros cuadrados, convirtiéndose sin duda en la plaza más imponente de España.
A lo largo de todo el perímetro de la plaza se extiende un canal de 515 metros de longitud, que puedes recorrer a bordo de una barca. Sin duda, una romántica experiencia.

Es una de las torres que Aníbal realizó para la plaza de España, siendo uno de los más visitados de la ciudad.

Bonito lugar pero lo llenan de basura.

Preciosa torre imponente en la plaza de España. Realizada en ladrillo con azulejo pintado. Bien cuidada. A día de hoy no se puede visitar
