Bodegas Campo Viejo

I have not been to many winery tours but totally enjoyed this one. Gabriella our guide was fabulous and explained details about the region I would never have thought to ask. The winery was modern and beautiful. Our wines were paired with chocolate (I would never have thought to do). It was relaxing and worth the taxi ride (if you didn’t have a car).

Great experience to visit Campo Viejo, the largest and well-known Rioja bodegas.
The amount of barrels and bottles stored here make a huge impression. Gabriela gave us a great tour and explained the different grape varieties and the production process of Rioja.
The wine tasting of the several special Rioja’s made the visit complete and all in all unforgettable.

Ariana was an incredible guide! We learned so much about Rioja wines and Campo Viejo. This was an experience you can’t miss if you’re in Spain, especially if you’re visiting Logroño. We stayed in the city center and drove a rented vehicle to the winery. Reservations are definitely required. 10/10 would recommend.

Mind-blowing tour of an incredible setup!! Really is a must do if you’re a wine fan. Standing in a room with 6 million bottles of wine is just jaw-dropping. Massive thanks to Ariana for the incredibly friendly welcome and tour, spoken in impeccable English with obvious passion for the subject matter. Whatever they’re paying you, it needs to rise! A real asset to the company. Completely exceeded my expectations. Book yourself in the tour now! You won’t regret it!!

Great tour if I am honest I wasn’t sure as I knew you are such a massive supplier to supermarkets back home but I’ve been to a few small vineyards. I was very pleasantly surprised. Your pairing of wine and chocolate was genius and our host victor was good fun and informative at the same time.

Stopped by on Monday to try some wines with a few friends and I was greeted with Ariana (dopamine girl :-)) with an amazing service and great explanation of their wines, accompanied with a big smile. It was very clear that she loves her work and the wines, and was explaining like they were her own children. And she was kind enough to take us downstairs to see the aging room. What a wonderful surprise! Will return in June for a full tour for sure!!

If you can afford it, don't hesitate. Really quite special to understand how this well known wine is made and be in the presence of so many barrels and bottles. Phenomenal and unique architecture also, for architecture fans.
Plus it in fact functions as a little bar and cafe which must be lovely in the evenings.
Our tour and tasting was led by Maria who was exceptional! Maria you can be very proud. I would love to come again.

We had a great tour through the winery, impressive location and storage facilities they have here! Alvaro was a fantastic tour guide, and showed us everything of Campo Viego. The tasting afterwards was brilliant, the wines will taste even better from now on!

What an afternoon! We visited and booked a tour in January and loved the experience. If you are looking for an incredible winery, great tour guide and fantastic wine, this is the place to visit! Anywhere else in Europe (outside of Spain) you would pay 3 times more per bottle. Out of all of our winery tours, this is the one.

We had a lovely time at the winery. Anja was a great help in recommending food and wine, and lovely to chat with ! She made our visit extra special - thank you. The scenery is gorgeous and all the wines and food absolutely delicious!

It was just by chance that I found the vineyard to one of my favourite supermarket Rioja's, and how glad I am to have found it. Our tour guide Maria was very knowledgeable and insightful, always happy to answer questions. The Winery itself is an incredible spectacle, both in beauty and sheer scale. Topped off with great tasting sessions of some rare yields, well worth a visit.

Use caution if GPSing your way here as it may take you to a back gated entrance way out in the vineyards that is locked.

Absolutely perfect for what we wanted. We needed an English tour and it ended up just being the two of us. Tour was great with a high level of detail and information, but not in any way boring. Tasting was amazing and we even got to enjoy the terrace. Would recommend to anyone in the area. We are drinking a bottle of their Azpilicueta wine that we bought there as I write this, and it's delicious!

A great wine experience. Just did the short tour and tasting with Victor and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Amazing place, with unprecedented wine bottle & barrel facilities onsite. Probably the biggest cask cellar in the world. Utterly jaw dropping!!

Great tour, got to see inside the factory. Learnt a lot thanks to Maria! Very knowledgeable and very beautiful! Beautiful views inside and out and got to taste wines which were t on the market. Overall fantastic tour, 100,% recommend.

We went to the SofarSounds event at Campo Viejo winery. it was an amazing and fun event. Raúl was extremely helpful with good recommendations for selecting the perfect wine.

Great tasting options as we drove through. Did not need a reservation to have a lovely tasting, some food and great views. Staff was super informative about the region. Great first stop here!!

Our tour guide Ari was amazing. They were extremely knowledgeable and made the experience really interesting and fun. The space is very environmentally conscious, beautifully designed and situated in an extremely picturesque location surrounded by their vineyards with a backdrop of mountains. Would definitely recommend this experience. Thank you again Ari!
