One of the best viewpoints in the area. The access is from the village of La Hermitage through a one lane serpentine road. The access road is beautiful! Once at the top you have 2 options: to park at an improvised parking for 2 euros which include a drink and take a gorgeous walk through a forest inhabited by mythological creates. The pass is called Rota Mitológica and it is 2 km long. The second option is to drive up to the viewpoint and park there. Needless to say, the first option is more fun.

Loved the scenery, very relaxing. Unable to do the Funicular ride as they closed early due winter hours. Always best check.

Incredible area. Outstandingly beautiful. Plenty of walking and climbing of you l know what you're doing. Not a beginners area at all. There is adequate parking for most types and bars and cafes to explore. The weather is good but does rain far more than most of Spain. Absolutely worth a visit, or three.

Beautiful road with some amazing villages in it. Check out Bejes, you will feel like you are in Switzerland (including the awesome cheese)! There is also a spa with thermal waters on the road, as well as the church of Santa Maria de Lebeña, the best conserved mozarabe church in the region. Highly rcommended!

A gorgeous drive through a spectacular canyon. We stopped at what was probably the only "official" viewpoint, close to the town of Hermida.
