Los restos del anfiteatro fueron sepultados en hormigón para poder construir la estación del AVE. Era el más grande de Hispania y el tercero más grande del imperio romano después de el coliseo de Roma y el de Cartago.
Pero como siempre priman otros intereses.
Un pena.

Es un timo, todo cubierto de hierba, abandonado, NI SE LES OCURRA IR , es una pérdida de tiempo , parece mentira que nadie se haya ocupado de rescatar el lugar.
