Located in Capuchin Square, this is a very different statue of Christ. The symbolism is impressive - holiness and light. Go early in the morning when the square is empty of tourists to feel the power and sanctity of the place.

The lights are very special at night and there was a candles and flowers.

Wonderful architectural monument created by Juan Navarro Leon in 1794 in historical center of Cordoba. This is one of the "must see places" in Cordoba. Just beautiful!

Durante tu visita a Córdoba no puedes dejar de visitar la escultura del Cristo de los Faroles, especialmente por la noche, en realidad su nombre es El Cristo de los Desagravios y Misericordia, conocido popularmente como el Cristo de los Faroles. Se encuentra en la Plaza de Capuchinos y consta de 8 faroles de los que toma su nombre popular.
Alcanzó gran popularidad por un película con ese nombre e interpretada por Antonio Molina en 1958. En la Cruz hay una inscripción en latín de un verso de la Biblia que dice en español “Y la roca era Cristo".
