El secreto del olivo

Fantastic place. Inmaculada and Jose Luis are hospital and friendly hosts, who go out of their way to make you comfortable. In fact, my bicycle had a problem, and Jose Luis drove me to the bike shop in the next town over. It was unecessry (I had planned to walk 40 minute) but reflective of the kind and helpful people they are. Also, the building has a very historical feel, and is very well kept and clean. I'd recommend Secreto de Olivo to anyone.

Inmaculada made our short stay warm and welcome. We really enjoyed listening to her explaining the architecture and local history, sat by an open fire. Her hospitality was touching. We had the option to dine in, and the breakfast was delicious, generous and the home made apple jam was delightful!
We will return and recommend.

Beautiful rooms in a historic house. Good breakfast and very friendly owners who showed interest in our travels. Perfect location and we were able to store our bicycles in a safe place.

A wonderful, classy guesthouse with romantic charm. The host was very welcoming and helpful and even provided a vegan dinner for us.

Fantastic spot

DE DIEZ. Fui por cuenta propia para un fin de semana de desconexión de todo, de todos y de la ciudad y de las prisas del día a día. El enclave no podía ser mejor. A eso añadirle sobretodo el cuidado y enorme hospitalidad de Inmaculada, quien regenta la casa rural. El interior de la casa es precioso y las estancias invitan a sentarme, leer o simplemente relajarse y meditar. Rutas de senderismo y bares de buen tapeo a tiro de piedra, aunque la propia cocina en la casa rural es exquisita y 100% casera. Mi única pequeña pega sería que costaba un poco regular la temperatura del agua de la ducha en mi habitación, pero nada ni mucho menos importante comparado con lo fabuloso que es todo lo demás. Muchas gracias y espero repetir!

Una casa muy bonita, todo super limpio y calentito, el patio espectacular, Inmaculada la perfecta embajadora un amor de mujer, te ayuda en todo lo q haga falta y te cuenta sobre la historia cosas muy interesantes. Estuvimos super a gusto. Totalmente recomendable. Helena y Timothy.

Inevitable repetirse, compartir los comentarios positivos descritos por cliente alojados en este espléndido lugar; una casa palaciega preciosa, decorada con mimo, el mismo que traslada su afable anfitriona a sus huéspedes. Es un lugar idóneo para alojarse, no solo por su belleza, por su tranquilidad, limpieza, o su cocina, con la opción de poder degustar una buena comida casera (qué croquetas Inmaculada!), si no por su entorno y ubicación estratégica, en el Valle de Lecrín, próximo a Granada capital, a La Alpujarra, a Sierra Nevada, a la costa,… un privilegio tener todas estas alternativas a mano.

Me ha encantado el lugar, una casa antigua muy cuidada y con todo detalle de decoración. El trato exquisito muy personal, inmaculada es una bella mujer y el desayuno exagerado y rico. Volveré. 👌

Wer dem urbanen Trubel von Granada entkommen möchte und lieber etwas abseits der Stadt eine Unterkunft sucht, findet hier in Nigüelas eine ganz liebenswürdige Familie, die eine kleine und besondere Pension hat. Hier wird man herzlich empfangen, die Dame spricht nur spanisch, aber die Verständigung funktioniert hervorragend. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und bietet eigentlich alles was man sich wünschen kann. Auf Wunsch kann man hier auch abends essen, wer aber mal rauskommen möchte findet in einer der Tapas Bars auch ein paar Kleinigkeiten und erlebt so auch das illustre Leben in diesem Dorf. Von hier hat man die Möglichkeit unzählige Wanderungen zu machen, sehr empfehlenswert ist der Aufstieg zum Cruz del Zahor, ein etwa zweistündiger Aufstieg, der mit einem tollen Blick über Nigüelas belohnt wird. Wir kommen sicher eines Tages wieder.

Un lugar con mucho encanto , mantiene todo el carácter de su época y muy bien conservado. Volvería y lo recomiendo.
