Bar-Restaurante La estación

We came here expecting to have a snack. However when the chef translated the menu of the day for us we decided to order from it. The restaurant was fully booked so we ate in the bar which had a great atmosphere. There were 2 of us For £50 we had 3 courses each, 4 glasses of wine, 2 beers. Excellent value and very friendly helpful staff.

Good food, great value for money. Doesn’t look much from the outside, so was a very pleasant surprise.
Staff were really nice too.

A fab restaurant in a beautiful rural area. Friendly and swift service. We had fixed menu and also ordered a-la-carte. To begin with, the fixed menu costs only 16 EUR, but it's definitely worthwhile. We had the bacalao salad, the spinach au-gratin, the chicken and the veal meatballs. Doesn't sound very exciting, but oh boy... each and every one of these were to die for. My friend ordered the grilled octopus, one of the highlights of these restaurants, and was really happy with the soft octopus. The best dessert was the flan de café. Apparently, the place is very popular in the area, so reserve in advance. The only thing that can be improved is the cleanliness of the ladies'.

Arrived on a public holiday and the restaurant was fully booked. The chef however still accommodated this hungry hiker. The menu del dia was great. Two courses and a full bottle of red wine.

Only restaurant in the village though.. so if you are planning for lunch or dinner while traveling in Morgro, better to consider that.

Every time I come to Santander to visit family, I’ve to come here. I almost don’t want to spread the word and keep this as my little secret but these guys deserve the world to know! The most delicious food always delivered with smiles and kindness. A great value also! One of my favourite places to eat!

Excellent menu. I had the salad, sardines and chips, then apple in cinnamon. All were excellent. Great option for us bridge runners!

Tasty and nutritious food, reasonable prices. Friendly staff, the chef even translated the menu to English if needed.

Delicious foods, a bit of everything. Kids loved it. Parents loved it and my wallet as well 😉

Awesome!

El local es rústico y algo antiguo, pero está muy bien aprovechado; cuenta con jardín con mesas (en verano), una gran carpa con dos comedores y dos comedores interiores. El fallo de estos últimos es que se genera mucho ruido y hay poco espacio entre mesas. Aún así, es agradable.

El servicio es rápido y muy cercano. Tanto los camareros como los miembros de cocina son muy agradables y tienen un ambiente familiar con los clientes.

En cuanto a la comida, cumple la calidad-precio. De verdad, está todo buenísimo. Recomiendo probar los calçots (son de época), las croquetas y las rabas, entre otras cosas. Respecto a los postres, la tarta de cerveza os dará una grata sorpresa.

La comida estaba buena, sin más... quizas no pedimos las especialidades de la casa; La carta del menú amplia y económica. El ambiente fenomenal, alegre y distendido. El servicio correcto y profesional.

Muy recomendable. Hemos venido a cenar dos y nuestro perro (golden retriever al que no solo no han puesto ningún problema sino que le han tratado genial). Hemos pedido tres raciones: rabas, ensalada de ventresca y queso de la zona. Todo buenísimo y en gran cantidad. El precio está genial, nos ha costado todo 32 €. Trato muy amable y familiar.

Solamente paramos para ver un poco el pueblo MAR, y nos tomamos una cerveza, la atención del camarero fue muy buena, y estuvimos hablando con otras personas que estaban en el bar, muy amables. El pueblo está muy bien.
