Absolutely amazing. Located in a beautiful valley with plenty of walking routes around. Place itself has unique character and you can see live owners had put to make this place. My pictures don’t give it justice. Camping quarters are spacious, ground nice and even. Camping is very quiet and prices are very reasonable. Food choice in a bar is basic but tasty , restaurants in nearby village have two restaurants. It’s a place I’m definitely going to come back too.

We loved our stay at this quirky site and hence stayed longer than planned. They have carefully created lots of delightful spots for campers to enjoy around the site and the rural backdrop gives a wonderful sense of tranquility. In fact the general peace and quiet of the place is what stands out. Another highlight is the swimming spot in the river just a few minutes walk away. The facilities were kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay and the staff friendly and attentive. It's somewhat off the beaten track but still within easy reach of lots of interesting places to see.

First class campsite, friendly and helpful welcome, lovely location with extensive mountain views all round, only sound is the cow bells, brand new toilet and shower block that puts a lot of so called "Boutique" hotels to shame, very stylish and very modern, an ideal stop off before or after Santander ferry or for longer as we did.

I absolutely loved this camp site. The position in the most stunning countryside where you can walk to beautiful old villages and superb cheese maker, swim in the river or hike the mountains. There are facilities for adults and children, without garish amusement areas and noise, shower and washing facilities the likes of I have never seen before and the entire ambiance is of artistic, quirky nostalgia and tranquility. I would highly recommend it.

Totally agree why this campground gets the ‘Best Open All Year Camping’ award. Super location, facilities are working and nicely decorated in Spanish country style. The hills and the silence. In October morning and evening fog merge through the hills. We will be back!

Fantastic site, very large pitches, showers and toilets are amazing, one of the best sites we have stayed on in spain, with the best shower rooms, spotless and lovely.

Lovely site in a lovely setting. Rustic and friendly accommodation with a lovely bar and food. The local village is great with lovely butchers and small supermarket. Scenery beautiful and the river Saja running by is beautiful. Very picturesque.

Beautiful, quiet location with two small villages within walking distance that have restaurants and shops. The washroom/shower facilities are like a 5star hotel. I have just spent 3weeks travelling by bicycle through France and Spain and this campsite is head and shoulders above every other one I have stayed in. Such a warm welcome on arrival, just so special. Do not hesitate to stay here you will not be disappointed. Also, they open all year round. Thank you from Ireland.

My favourite campsite in Spain. The receptionist was a very nice friendly young man and spoke great English. There was WiFi on site which was also very good. The bathrooms were the best I've seen and the only ones that have a had music in them! The pitches are quite large and there's a lovely River walk right by the campsite. Lovely restaurant down the road with a very friendly owner which made our stay even better. Only bad thing was that the showers would randomly get warmer or the pressure would change which was probably due to other people washing dishes and having showers. Overall it's a perfect stay.

This is a lovely camping in the countryside in a very quiet valley. All the pitches are on grass and there is a good mix of shade and sun. The sanitary block is the best I have ever seen, clean and with hand wash and paper towels and feels more like a 5* hotel than a camping. The bar area is very nice and there is a good library. It is rather expensive but at least you get something for your money.

Absolutely amazing, you would have thought that is is not a campsite but some hotel. Immaculate and clean everywhere.

Very friendly, family run campsite. Washblock impeccable, bar delightful, staff welcoming. Absolutely full when we arrived mid August. Would recommend booking at this gem of a site in beautiful Cantabria.

A beautiful, well kept place with lovely staff. There's random items placed in a non random way which adds to the charm of the surrounding nature. It is as expensive as other camping sites in the region and absolutely worth double the price!

In January 2018 we made the one hour road trip from Portsmouth Santander ferry. Knocked out by flu and in bed for the whole crossing our welcome was a treat. The lady could see we were ill and let us dump the caravan right by the shower block and collapse. Didn’t have the strength to put the steadies down. Each day as we recovered she discreetly wandered by to see if we were ok. Big thank you. Perfect spot for a few days before moving south.

No doubt it’s the best camping I’ve ever been in my whole life. It’s a perfect place to visit again and again. The staff is very friendly and everything is really nice to rest for a few days.

Beautiful campsite next to a small river where you can dip in on hot days. Site is not too big with clean restrooms, enough toilets and showers, very friendly and helpful personnel.
