Camping Os Castros - Baroña

We had a great time! The owner's son was very welcoming and helpful, the camping site is beautiful with lots of trees, enough shade and a nice bar area. There are many tents but camping with a van (we have a Vito) is not a problem neither (there were some caravans too, but I'd check before going to make sure there is enough space). There is also an amazing beach and the ruins of an old village (Castro) 5 minutes away. Camping has no restaurant service but you can cook or grill and there is a town nearby (short drive or 30 minutes bike ride) with many dinning options. Definitely recommended!

Amazing family run traditional "tent style" campsite with all the essential amenities you'll need. Warm showers, traditional BBQ pits, cafe/bar on site (great prices) with tropical Oasis vibes. You'll feel immediately relaxed the moment you arrive. Great beach 5 min away walking with direct access from camp site. Os Castros historical site 7 min away walking from same beach path. Staff speak multiple languages & are very accommodating. A hidden gem in this beautiful part of Galicia! Will be back again soon

Camping Os Castros is one of the most beautiful campsites I have been to, with plenty of plants and trees surrending the site and a nice terrace to enjoy breakfeat or some cerveza. The campsite is partial self sustained which is aswell super cool. It is perfect for tent and campers. The owners and people are super friendly and supportive.

If you come around go and watch the sunset or the stars by the beach, which I found personelly the most beautiful beach in this area (For relaxing, aswell for surfing).

Very beautiful small campsite with an amazing atmosphere and a very nice and relaxed owner. I loved all the plants and the quirky outdoor furnishings and decor in the reception area and that the campsite itself isn't the usual boring grid of pitches. There's a really nice beach nearby, which can be reached within a 10 min walk through the woods.
The only downside were the showers, the stalls are very small and the water temperature is very mercurial, going from barely lukewarm to scalding hot within seconds. Or from cold to lukewarm, depending on the time of day or maybe the shower stall? Anyway, since that's only ten minutes a day and the rest of my stay was great, it still gets a 5 star review :)

Good camping. You have some bbq space on the campsite and the beach is 5-10mins away. Basic amenities, there wasn't an issue with parking. Staff is super friendly and helpful - and I met even 2 of them that speak English.

If you still like camping with actual tents, this is your place. Simple yet great little campsite. Nice bar, stunning beach at five minutes walk, superb restaurants in nearby village, clean showers and restrooms. Loved it!

Best camping we've been to for the atmosphere. Relaxed vibes, great cheap bar and access to a small beach. Mainly tent campers.

Super schöner und überschaubarer Platz. Wir sind durch Zufall auf diesen Platz gestoßen und sind mit unserem VW T5 und Hund, 2 Tage länger geblieben als geplant :-) die Betreiber sind nett und offen und helfen bei Fragen gerne weiter! Der Weg zum Strand dauert 5 Minuten. Wir hatten den Strand teilweise für uns alleine :-)

Es el segundo año que vamos! Y seguiremos repitiendo! Musica en vivo, desayunos muy ricos, el lugar es muy bonito, hay parrilleros para barbacoa! Por las noches se respeta el silencio para descansar. Tiene parking. Bajada a la playa. Baños con ducha caliente. Zona de lavar ropa y tambien zona de lavar loza. La atencion es muy buena! Marcos y todo el personal siempre muy amables. Nos sentimos como en casa!

Después de ir a este camping me atrajo tanto que no quiero ir a otro, un lugar que te deja sin palabras y las personas son súper implicadas. Me llevo muchos experiencias inolvidables! La playa queda al lado y puedes ir por un camino de tierra. Me encanta! 🌞🌴🏄🎇

Wir waren als Familie mit Hund 6 Nächte auf dem Platz und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Der Platz ist sehr schön gestaltet und für Zelte, Busse und kleinere Wohnwagen gut geeignet. Für große Wohnwagen ist die Zufahrt schwierig. Neben dem Haupthaus mit Bar und vielen netten Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es viele schöne Schattenplätze unter diversen Bäumen. Die Gäste sind im wesentlichen junge Familien, Surfer und Individualreisende, was zum besonderen Flair beiträgt.
Die Straße ist gut zu hören. Nachts ist es eher ruhiger. Zudem waren wir auf dem hinteren Teil des Platzes, wodurch uns der Straßenverkehr nicht gestört hat.
Die beiden Strände sind auch mit Kindern zu Fuß zu erreichen und wirklich schön. Ein Strand ist eher für Kleinkinder geeignet, da die Wellen ruhiger sind. Der andere Strand ist eher was für Kinder die gut schwimmen können und Wellen lieben.
Die Besitzer und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Leider ist es weit weg von unserem zu Hause aber irgendwann kommen wir bestimmt noch mal vorbei...

Si hubiera diez estrellas se las daría, por su cercanía, por su trato amable, por como tienen todo cuidado....Es como un oasis o un jardín botánico en medio de un gran pinar. Si buscas un cmping aparcelado no vengas. Sillones de mimbre por todos lados, cojines y y palets con mesitas para tomar algo, la playa de Castro de Baroña justo debajo y la del Dique a continuación. Como digo, un paraíso para disfrutar con tu familia, tus amigxs o con tus perros.

Un camping realmente tranquilo y un trato espectacular. Sitio para visitar... disfrutar... y volver una y otra vez. Nos encantó... su gente... el entorno... la playa... Los Castros de Baroña... la tranquilidad... la sencillez...la vecindad... Una estancia para recordar...

Esta ha sido nuestra primera vez en el camping!! Un lugar especial y mágico y sobretodo muy tranquilo.Los dueños se encargan de que se mantenga la tranquilidad. Nos ha encantado!! La atencion es muy buena! Todo el personal muy amable y cercano. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y repetiremos sin duda.

Excelente camping familiar, muy tranquilo y acogedor. No tiene todas las comodidades y servicios que hay en otros , pero en ello radica su encanto.

Nos ha encantado! Un camping tranquilo, con un jardín frondoso y lleno de rincones agradables donde estar, pet friendly y una playa maravillosa muy cerquita; tanto los propietarios como el resto del personal te hacen sentir como en casa.

Es un camping con un ambiente muy especial y apacible. Los baños y duchas están bien y las parcelas son amplias. Si podéis recoger, mejor las que dan a la parte de atrás, ya que las que están más cerca de la carretera se escuchan los coches un montón.
Está a un paseíto muy agradable tanto de la playa de Baroña como del Castro.
El ordinal muy agradable y atento y el precio inmejorable.

Entorno maravilloso y muy bien cuidado.
