Cabogata Beach Hotel

Stayed here at summer time, and it was a great hotel with a great pool! Dogs are allowed to stayed at this hotel and I brought mine and they were allowed to go everywhere around the hotel as long as they're in their transporter. It's a great hotel to relax and enjoy and its great hotel to bring your dog too. The rooms were good size and breakfast and dinner was great with good variety!
My family and I will defiantly be staying here again in the summer

Fantastic short break in this lovely hotel. The pools were amazing, the rooms modern and comfortable, and the staff super friendly.

We were bed and breakfast so cannot comment on lunch or dinner but the breakfasts were superb. Loads of selection ans all very fresh.

We ate in local restaurants - there some really nice ones on the beach and an Italian we went to for lunch. Both within walking distance

We also headed to Almeria for Saturday night and loved the old town. Loads of great bars and restaurants.

All in all a lovely short break. Highly recommended

Very pleasant holiday hotel. Large airy entrance lobby and helpful reception with English-speaking receptionists. Good sized rooms with bathrooms constructed with effectively obscured glass. There's no door to separate the bathroom from the main room and in the first room we were offered, the sliding glass door that should close the WC was missing. They changed our room. The adult pool is very long so great for serious swimmers and the family pool is enormous and not too crowded. There are no special water play features for kids. The indoor pool is small; not much more than a token. Catering is good with excellent breakfast selection. They don't publicise the dinner buffet very well but at 40€ a head, we vegetarians couldn't justify it. For meat and fish eaters we imagine that it would be good.

Location: Bordering the promenade, with no highway in between, and within a 3-minute walk you are on the beach. It is a quiet location. No crowded beach bars, crowds of people or lots of traffic. If you want to enjoy your peace and quiet this is the right place.

Hotel: Beautiful, well maintained hotel with 2 pools, and a beautiful outside.

Room: good size room with beautiful bathroom although I personally prefer a (completely) closed bathroom. Furniture in perfect condition and a big size TV. Minibar and safe present. Bed of very good quality.
I just loved the amenities. The smell and the package, just beautiful!. It's the second time in my life, and I have stayed in many, many hotels, that I took the not used ones with me (sorry guys of the Cabogata and Hotel The Grand, Amsterdam))

Breakfast: everything you want, fresh, quantity, quality, live cooking and so on. You can have breakfast inside and outside, on the terrace.

Dinner/lunch: you have a choice, buffet style or a la carte. We used the buffet for lunch and dinner. Personally, we found the lunch buffet better and more varied than than dinner buffet. But the overall quality of the food doesn't match a 5* hotel. Chicken and (frozen) fish of lesser quality.
The quality of Tapas during the afternoon at the pool bar also a lesser quality. The flavors were good but everything (Paella, croquettes, tortilla de patatas) was served cold. This should be better in a 5* hotel.

Staff: friendly but the waiters could smile a little more ....

Parking: outside en indoor parking available.

Nice rooms, nice pool area, and right across from the beach. The area doesn't have much going on as far as options, but the hotel is nice. We stayed here to relax and then stayed in Almeria central for more fun and excitement.

Beautiful new hotel in a perfect location on the beach, just outside Almeria city centre. Easy access from the airport and so much to do. We explored the National Park by car and boat as well as a tremendous 4x4 tour of the desert. We also discovered that Almeria has a fascinating history. The hotel rooms are very spacious and beautifully laid out. We had an adjoining room for our children (14 and 10) which was perfect. The staff were brilliant and friendly. We had a half board rate and had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel buffet restaurant, which was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel reopened this weekend after a long renovation so I'll go on a limb and say that older reviews should be ignored.

We had a great time! Best of all, open to (small) dogs! The hotel is still working on setting up EV charging, but we're able to accommodate our EV via standard plug just the same.

The rooms are a nice size, comfy and clean - a bit minimalist in decor but it works. The breakfast was delicious and the service very attentive and kind. The hotel is right next to a lovely beach that wasn't crowded at all - it was actually incredible. The pool area is great with two large pools and plenty of chaise longs. One of the pools is open till midnight which was awesome. They have DJs in the evenings (6-9) which can be great or annoying depending on the DJs style.

The cocktails at the pool bar could do with improvement - I would recommend to stick with mixed drinks instead. The beds and pillows are a bit too hard for our taste but it didn't interfere in our sleep.

We plan to come back!

New and modern 5 star hotel. Away from Almería. Expensive by taxi to airport and the city. But otherwise a really enjoyable stay and very helpful team. Bar man was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The manager in particular was very helpful when we lost our phone!

Beautiful hotel, 50yds from the beach. Quiet, great pools and cocktails. Fantastic, hard working staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great Aircon too!!

Espectacular hotel junto al mar. Habitaciones de lujo. Servicio, comida estupendo. El director atento en todo momento y educadisimo con los clientes. Aparte de todo lo que tiene, falta una pista de tenis.

Buen hotel, relación calidad, precio y servicio adecuadas. Aunque al ir fuera de temporada algunas cosas de la piscina climatizada estaban fuera de servicio. Pero muy bien. Volveremos.

Hemos pasado un puente maravilloso, somos de Valencia, la ubicación me pareció genial, las instalaciones absolutamente maravillosas, la atención de todo el personal un 10, fuimos en régimen de media pensión, los desayunos bastante bien, a señalar los zumos que no me parecen a la altura de un hotel 5 estrellas pero las cenas son bastante mejorables, bien de variedad pero la calidad no acompaña así que sería lo único a reseñar de forma mejorable, el resto súper, es precioso en general,la habitación muy bien, el baño también, amplias terrazas, lindas vistas. Sin duda alguna volvería muchas veces porque me ha encantado.
