Hotel Valdecoro

A very well located hotel, close enough to town to be convenient but not in the centre. The room is of ample size for two with a very large bathroom. Water piping hot, great shower and facilities. I would say that a bonus for ourselves is the secure off-road out of sight parking area for our motorbike. Breakfast is easily enough even for me, it is a large choice, mainly continental style. Overall, it was a great place and stay very clean too.

The room was perfect, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom very nice and clean, and the views and all the birds singing were so so lovely. Breakfast was super tasty and all the staff are so kind. Thank you for the warm welcome and for a great stay

We had a wonderful stay back in May, room was lovely , comfy bed and very clean , breakfast was great and location ideal and in nice walking distance for evening meals and walk around Potes , undercover parking for the motorbike and the view from the bedroom window was stunning, would highly recommend. Staff were great and helpful .

Very good quality considering it’s a 2-star hotel. The lounge areas were a big perk (open spaces with plenty of comfortable seating and natural lighting). The room was reasonably spacious, very clean and with a good bathroom. The breakfast was included and a plus! Included turkey, salami, cheese, breads, yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee/juice/milk

The owners were a lovely group of people as well :)

- light in bathroom was working weirdly (the switch needed to be pressed in specific spot plus light blinked from time to time)

Fabulous location and great facilties. Our motorbike was able to be parked under cover at rear of hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choice.
Hotel was very clean and accommodated us as bikers.

Great hotel, great people, great breakfast. I have seen bad reviews for this hotel, why, I have no idea. A party of 5 stayed here for 6 nights. Parking for our motorcycles, brilliant place.

Great location and very nice hotel

A very good hotel, and at a bargain price. We did a motorcycle tour of northern Spain and stopped here on two separate occasions. It was probably the best value hotel of the trip and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The rooms are spotless and modern, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful though our inability to speak Spanish caused some communication issues, but we got by with some sign languages and plenty of smiles.
The breakfast buffet has a wider selection than many and the restaurant is spotless. It strikes me that this is likely a skiing hotel in the winter.
Anyway that's all folks, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is very convenient to Potes. Plenty of parking at rea for motorcycles. Room clean and modern. Breakfast is continental buffet style. Comfortable lounge with free WiFi.

We were visiting this hotel in August. A beutiful family hotel, very very clean, which is most important this days, and beutiful decorated up to the details. We usually don't take breakfast because we like to try the local restaurant, but in that one it was included in the price, and it was great and fresh!! The view is amazing and it easy to park in the street, even though they have a parking lot . In total, we had a great experience therefore I highly recommend.

The host was very welcoming and warm. The rooms were immaculate clean very modern and spacious. Bathrooms were modern and clean and bright. We visited in October and no need for air conditioner even though the room does not have it. The Wi-Fi was lagging but usable for quick searches. Very close to the heart of town.Great views out the back of the room with Jews to Picos de Europa. The hotel for like you were staying at a family‘s house. It’s a family owned business with the Founders pictures on the wall and the daughter is the host. She even gave us a tour of the lounge area where they had original paintings from Artists From all over Spain.

I recently stayed at the hotel valdecoro for a week with a group of 50 other girls, the service was amazing and the hotel was very clean.It was conviniently seated in the small village of potes which was a perfect walking destination for our group with breathtaking views.I think my only complaint was that the hotel its self did not have any outdoor facilities but you were given free acsess to the local pool which was a 20 minute walk away.Over all out week was brilliant and we had a great time the owners and staff were really lovely.

Nothing but praise...great location...great rooms...pleasant staff...great prices...not much more to say
