Cigarral De Caravantes

A lovely countryside hotel just outside Toledo.. rooms overlooking the city with stunning views of the valley and river. Walking distance to the bridge into Toledo. Unfortunately we did not try the restaurant, but looks cosy for a nice dinner

We really liked this hotel. It is not big, but unique. It has a feel of Spanish tradition. Perhaps stone and ceramics are not quite the usual design for American guests, but we got the feeling of true Spain. The room was clean with a great view of the old city.We went to the old town on foot and it turned out that it was not far - we had to cross the river over a bridge. But we saw beautiful landscapes around.
Breakfast was very fresh and tasty. You could sit on the terrace and enjoy aromatic coffee. Staff was friendly.

Great hotel overlooking Toledo. Comfortable and quiet room with balcony and great view. Easy parking. Lovely reception. Highly recommend.

Cosy room and a magnificent view at Toledo from the balcony. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was good and we could outside on the terrace. Enough parking space available at the hotel. It is a 30 minutes walk to the centre of Toledo (walk down to the bridge and than up again). Many nice things to see in Toledo. Recommended!

The room was basic, but just what we needed. I loved the semi-rustic feel that really matched the overall feel of Toledo. The balcony with the view of the city from afar was lovely. The walk up the hill from the base of the entrance (with luggage) was rough, but we managed. It's a short 10-15 minute walk to Puente de San Martin and also in the opposite direction a short 10-12 minute walk to the bus stop in front of the AC Hotel Ciudad de Toledo.
We walked the grounds of the hotel and it looks lovely, just a little out of use (I can only imagine given post-covid). I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone looking for affordable, comfortable, but basic lodging in Toledo. It fit the bill for us perfectly. We did the hop-on- hop-off tour and got off at the Los Cigarrales stop and walked to our hotel.
There's a restaurant on site and apparently breakfast option, but we opted to eat elsewhere in Toledo.
There was also free wi-fi.
All-in-all a GREAT stay!!

Wonderful food, authentic from the area and cooked very well. Visited with a large group and no one was kept waiting for anything, staff were superb very effective at their jobs. Highly recommended.

One dirty fork but everything else was so good I can not give four stars. The view is great, the music was good and most importantly the staff extremely friendly. Food, wines and dessert were superb. Very romantic with my wife.

Lovely hotel, staff the best!

Love the place; arresting views, close by Toledo yet enjoying the city from the outside. Eighteenth century finca charm and comfort with all mod cons. Creative kitchen, superb food and service, a memorable dinner al fresco, in awe as the sun set over the city. Will be back.

If you can find pricing for under $110 euros a night, DO NOT MISS THIS. Still worth it even if more expensive, room 31 was just beautiful. Slightly removed for the city, but a bus ride takes you there in under 10 minutes.

Great setting to enjoy a very nice meal, wine or other drinks and a spectacular view on Toledo.
Perfect staff makes this a very good experience!

Well, well, well.... If you were wondering where is the Latin beat happening on a Saturday night, Sunday morning 12 AM, in Toledo, then... you guessed right. It is happening here, in Cigarral de Caravantes. I had a blast listening to the latest of the greatest Latin songs and feeling the awesome vibe of the locals enjoying the ambiance. The DJ is not a disc jockey; the DJ is a magician. He has been playing a continuous flow of selective vibrant classics. Awesome, totally awesome. Dudes... Deeds... enjoy a little bit of the fantastic tropical Latin experience you will encounter at this venue. Enjoy the sunny ways my friends... sunny ways. Dance Baybeh dance! Salud Toledo!!!
