Cigarral de las Mercedes

I had my wedding at Cigarral 3 weeks ago and it was magical. The property is even more stunning than it looks in pictures, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was incredible, the villa and rooms were all beautiful. Would highly recommend this property both as a wedding venue and as a hotel.

I had my wedding and stay here. It is the most magical place filled with the most magical people. Words cannot express how grateful we are to everyone there for their kindness, professionalism, and dedication. We can’t wait to go back!

Everything was great. The view, the rooms = clean and comfy. food was also great. staff are welcoming and try their best to suit your meeds.
The place is as relaxing as it can be.

A wonderful hotel in Toledo Spain ,very friendly staff ,food was very delicious appealing in taste and appearance ,the hotel overlooking a wonderful view ,I attended a wedding party there which was really wow ,the only drawback was the DJ who is not cooperative with the guests and with people requests ,overall value over money is excellent

I attended a large wedding event that occurred over 4 days. Every aspect was well planned and organized. The staff provided the best service I have ever experienced! The food was absolutely fabulous! The guest rooms are very nice and close to all event areas. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the view overlooking Toledo is stunning. It was very hot during our stay so the pool area was used constantly, with staff always present. I cannot think of one thing that would have made this event or our stay any better! I highly recommend The Cigarral!

The service was excellent. The property is laid out well and was fairly easy to get around. The hall was amazing with great views.

We got so lucky with El Cigarral de las Mercedes! Considering that we could not see the venue until a few days before our wedding because we live in Australia. We also had a family member from Europe doing food tasting for us. This was a massive leap of faith, but it was worth it!
The place is better than any photos can depict! Service quality is superb, and the food is delicious. Big thanks to Marina, who helped us manage everything. I could not plan it without her!
This place is everything you can dream of, a fairy tale venue and a wedding planner in the package. They made it so easy for us.

Also, Andres, their DJ, is incredible. He reads the crows so well. Our reception wasn't big, but he kept people on the floor all night.
So not only ceremony and dinner were a success, but the reception after was a lot of fun.

Beyond grateful to all the staff at Cigarral de las Mercedes. My (now) husband and I got married there last week and it truly was the best day of our lives.

With it being a destination wedding, we decided to leave everything in the hands of every professional there and we do not regret it one bit. From Marina - our wedding planner extraordinaire, to Sara who was in the logistic details from start to finish. This team knows what they’re doing so we recommend trusting them completely. All we had to do is send visual inspiration, describe how we would like our ceremony to be and have an amazing menu tasting session.

A special shout out to Charo who was like a guardian angel who fulfilled all of our requests during the party, and Andrés (the DJ) who kept the party going and created one of the greatest moments of the night - our last dance. AMAZING!

Last but not least the staff at the hotel itself, the always helpful and friendly Madelin, and the amazing Edwin and Carlos who helped us recover a wedding present we left around the hotel!

You will all be in our hearts and be part of our story forever! THANK YOU!

Amazing amazing amazing!! Had a family wedding here and I cannot say enough good things. The warm friendly atmosphere was so beautifully maintained as well as the entire estate - its immaculately Kept in terms of cleanliness, fixture updates etc. food was also delicious!

We attended friends' wedding at La Cigarral last week.

Our stay was magical, from the unique location overlooking the Old Town of Toledo to the passion and kindness of every single one of the staff members, our experience was flawless.

I think what makes this place so unique is the feeling that you are being taken care of by people who live and breathe hospitality.

Breath-taking from A to Z, would recommend at 100%!

Wonderfully relaxing atmosphere for a wedding. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The rooms with a patio had an outdoor shower and sitting area that was very restful. The bed was extremely comfortable and shower divine. Definitely worth a return visit!

We were lucky to get married in Cigarral in May 2021 and it was by far the best decision we have made! The venue is incredible, the staff very professional and friendly and the food simply amazing :) The big plus is having the possibility to have rooms on the wedding location. We would recommend getting married there 10000%!!!

We had our wedding here and everything from beginning to end was perfect. We were nervous getting married abroad, but Marina went above and beyond for us. Not only did she organize everything within the venue itself, but helped us contact priests, gave us restaurant recommendations, and offered to help us book venues for the day before and after. She went through everything with us and was always so responsive. On the day, we had to move everything indoors due to weather, but the staff made this seem like it wasn't an issue at all and made us feel so much better about the situation.
Every cost was as expected and there were no surprises on the bill. Everyone agreed the food on the night was amazing! The breakfast was outstanding also, and the rooms were stunning.
Honestly I cannot say enough. For a day that could easily have been so stressful, Cigarral handled it like the true professionals they are and made us feel so at ease. We are honestly so grateful for everything they did for us, and cannot recommend the venue enough for any event, or even just a quiet night away. We'll be back, that is for certain!

This amazing boutique hotel could not have been more perfect! The views of old town Toledo are absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were incredible and the AC worked beautifully (which is important to us Americans 😊) The staff were so kind and gracious to us, and the hotel restaurant was delicious! I stayed here for a friend’s wedding, so I got to see the full estate. I cannot recommend this gorgeous place enough! If I come back to Toledo, I will definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

Wow wow wow!

My now wife got married in the Cigarral in April 2022 and it was superb! Our wedding planner from the venue, Marina, was a brilliant. Helping us every step of the way, being super enthusiastic and supportive of what we wanted to do and was so calm on the day, which really helped us on our special day.

Looking back, we wouldn't change a thing. The venue is incredible, the food and drinks were really high quality (an delicious!) and all the staff are so friendly and happy to help. Any minor request on the day was taken care of. Having access to the golf kart to get around was appreciated by the bride on the day. The views were stunning.
The DJ was brill, keeping the tunes going and when we extended the bar it wasn't an issue. All our guests REALLY enjoy it, which makes us feel really proud, but is also all down to this incredible staff (especially Marina), the Team behind it and the owners.

The hotel accommodation is really nice too and it's easy to hop in a taxi up and down to / from Toledo town.

Breakfast the following day was delicious too.

All in all, would highly recommend - we don't regret it and you won't either.

Great location, expansive grounds with impressive views over Toledo. Rooms were clean and nice. Wedding service here was so impressive, very slick operation with all staff attentive and a credit to the place.
