Bar Margot

Wonderful restaurant located in the old town, on one of the main streets but surprisingly quiet - a bit separate from other shops and restaurants. We ate outside on the patio in the small square with great views. The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding! Our family of 5 had a delicious lunch of tapas including drinks for about 60 Euros.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious! We tried the plate of pork loin with pepper sauce and the tostada with goat cheese and marmalade. It was a great local place and a little off the beaten path. Highly recommend!

We had a salad and a burger -simple, fresh and tasty. I could eat such salad every day!

Excellent sandwiches and salad, served on a nice and quiet terrace by a friendly waiter.

I believe this place deserves more than the 4.2 average rating. This a nice place to have cold drinks and great tapas. The owner was very attentive. Besides all the free tapas which were really good, we also ordered salmon tostadas which was a good portion to share. This a good place to visit while in Toledo

Stumbled across this lovely bar whilst wandering around the streets of Toledo. It as a great terrace that's peaceful and surrounded by beautiful building. Service is great and they have cider which is a boost. We liked it so much we visited three times during our stay. I would highly recommended a visit to Margot's

The waiter and/or Owner was very nice to us even though my spanish is more or less useless. He clearly had a lot of work to do but still managed to give us enough attention. The terrace is a quiet and lovely spot to sit down and enjoy. In addition the food tasted very authentic and price/ value was Good. I can recommend the dessert it was more than enough for my sweet tooth

I randomly found this bar on Google but it’s definitely the best bar in Toledo! Miguel, the owner, is so sweet and nice and knows how to take care of his patrons, and also has a very cool vibe and music selection. 12/10 would recommend! I can’t wait to come visit on another trip some day

I dropped in lunch during slower hours. I enjoyed having the place to myself. The food was ready quickly and hit the spot. It's was a good random stop to refuel while exploring the city.

My wife and I adopted Margot as our go-to restaurant while in Toledo for several days. The terrace is relatively quiet, and the tables are adequately spaced. The gentleman who served us was courteous and helpful, and like so many waiters in Spain, incredibly hard working.

We generally drink white wine, and theirs was one of the best house wines we had between Madrid, Grenada, Cordoba and Toledo. My wife really likes a good salad, and while many of the salads we ate in the four cities we visited were good, the one we had there(twice!) was the best we had, hands down…Fresh mixed greens, two generous slices of goat cheese, lovely ham slices, the crunch of pepita and sunflower seeds, crispy fried onions and a lovely raspberry dressing. AND, enough for the two of us to share.

Other salads and toasts that came from the kitchen were equally generous and appealing.

So, if you are in the mood for something other than paella or Rabo de toro, give Margot a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Get the Burgers! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! It was an experience!
