Café del Kasco

The food and service was amazing! It’s owned and run by a very kind Cuban family and I had a great time having lunch here with my family. They also have good vegetarian options!

Five of us were delighted with the food at Café del Kasco today! I am visiting my brother and a friend in Spain, and we went to the beautiful Toledo on a busy day prior Easter. With no expectations, we decided to have lunch at Café del Kasco and we were marveled with the attention of the owners, specially, Ms. Sarai who kindly posed with us in the picture. We had El Señorito paella, fried bacalao, patatas bravas (spicy potatoes), lacón (a type of ham), potaje de vigilia (chickpea soup), including cheesecake and torrija for desert. Everything was delicious, yet my favorite was the paella and the torrija. We also enjoyed a rich orujo after lunch. The attention was exceptional and the location was superb. Highly recommended!

Cute little restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. We were given olives when we sat down. My husband said they were delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and gave excellent menu suggestions. We yook his suggestion and went with their menu de otono with the addition of the local stew. Delicious! They even have soy milk for those who prefer an after meal coffee and don't want regular milk.

LEO was a great host/ server. I think he is the manager because he recomended the food, and all. Great tasting foods and service. Loved the place!!! Highly recomend!! The paella was very tasty.

We went twice to Café del Kasco during our week-long stay in Toledo, even though there were many other places we could have tried. The staff is engaging, personable, and fun. Our server, Leo, was especially great!
We had a selection of regional dishes for 2, including carcamusas, migas, and venison. Delicious! The second time, we had chuletón with salad and potatoes. More than we could eat! And the torta de mazapán casera with ice cream was really great.
Highly recommended!

Everything here was delicious! We have traveled all of Spain on our trip and they have the best pallea! The service was superb as well! 🫶🏽 absolutely loved and definitely recommend 10/10.

Would be back if we were staying longer in Toledo!

We were famished after cathedral visit and were around peak period where every place is busy. Was ushered in by (i think) the chef who recommended a cod and bean stew. And it turned out to be a good choice! Stew was bursting with cod flavour and the stew was yummy as it tasted herb based.
The chef and his staff were very friendly and humourous too! 🤭
Oh and the complimentary olives were good too being marinated in a yummy sauce 🤤

Nice little place to grab tapas and drinks when walking around Toledo. The staff was very friendly and was accommodating when it was rainy. They even gave us some mazapan sweets for All Saints Day!

Very friendly crew/chef and good food. I ordered their t-bone steak, big portions, it was definitely more then enough for two people. Be aware though, they don't cook their steak much if you don't mention anything it'll be rare. We ordered well done for my wife and it still came medium rare. It was still tasty though, no complaints on my end 😉

A hidden gem inside the enchanted city of Toledo.
The food was absolutely delicious in a perfect location where you could enjoy the magic of Toledo taking you back in time in a not so crowded part while still perfectly located.

The chef was super welcoming and pleasant.
If you get there I totally recommend you visit this place.

Back in March 2023, my mother and I took a trip to Spain. On our visit in Toledo, my mother and I were dying for some food after so much walking, but it was the time of day when bars/restaurants stop serving for a couple hours. The chef and his wife invited us into Cafe de Kasco and wouldn’t let us leave hungry despite the time. We had a beautiful experience at this Café, not only with the lovely people working but with the delicious food as well. We recommend everyone to stop by when exploring Toledo!!
