Hotel Restaurante Galera

We booked this hotel for 2 nights as we was looking for a cave house to purchase here. Firstly I slept very well in a massive beautiful bed and love its quirky moroccan decor. Beautiful hotel; clean rooms; lovely views; big balcony; free parking; lovely helpful staff; however we had 2 meals and we didnt really enjoy as being British we found what we ate was different to our usual 'palate', but doesnt mean they were not good. Was cooked well and staff tried explaining what was in the dishes. Service great anyway. We would come back.

We stayed for one night at the Hotel Galera. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning welcome. The staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on the food, but we would stay there again.

This is a hotel in the village of Galera where my wife and i live. The hotel gets really busy on a Sunday afternoon both inside and out. Its a nice mix of Spanish, American, Dutch and British people. Free tapas with each drink served is varied, from veg based, to fish or rice, chicken, pork etc. Staff are extremely efficient and friendly.

Best terrace in the village to enjoy a drink and tapas and enjoying the beautiful view. A nice restaurant with a different menu offered to the normal Spanish fare available. A small village hotel with a lift to the rooms if required.

Excellent food at very good prices. Friendly, helpful staff.

Our stay in Hotel Galera was very pleasant - very central and quite, the room is comfortable, the restaurant offers a variety of good meals all day long, the staff is helpful and,as guest in the hotel, you get free access to the pool. Highly recommended for a weekend or a short stay in the village.

i cannot recommend this place highly enough. the food was wonderful, the views incredible and the friendliest service I have ever had. My friend had a migraine before the meal arrived and had to go and sit in her car, the proprietor not only kept her food warm but went out to the car with water and cold flannels, then kept me company so I didn't have to eat alone. WONDERFUL!!! Best establishment on the Altiplano.

A cozy little hotel.
The parking is free.
The bed was comfortable.
The room was nice.
The owner is a happy sweet man that speaks English.
The staff was very helpful.

It was beyond our expectations so although we booked one night we stayed for two...

To night I had a great meal a few pints really good. But I've had a bad meal other times
But I'm willing to go again in the next few weeks to see if it now improved to tonight evening meal which was first class. Given I've spent only 30 euro all evening and had a great meal. Regards barry

Delighted with our simple but tasty Spanish breakfast, served by the equally delightful Rosa, out on the totally delightful (and soleado) terrace... so lovely that the terrace is open for business after a 4 month break.

A great little hotel in a beautiful village. The host Jack is incredibly welcoming. You go to Galera for the Spanish local experience and Hotel Galera is there to match. Jack also creates some of the best Gin & Tonics in the land. Order the Dry Gin with Coffee Beans and Orange Peel. An absolute must. Cheers Jack!

Great quality food, reasonable prices. Staff very attentive.. Nice place to relax and dine out wether during the day or evening..

Wonderful, friendly staff, the food is great!! Jack will make you feel welcome both in English and Spanish. Rosa, Ailis, Pedro, Rocio, Barry..everyone there will greet you with a smile. The food is fantastic, a hodge-podge of different cuisines...you can get anything from burritos to curry, pizza to homemade burgers!! They have a fabulous array of homemade desserts, their lemon meringue is to die for, but my absolute favorite is Jack's Mom's very own Coca-Cola chocolate cake!!!!

Fantastic St Patrick's Day fiesta with The Trippers. Great staff, great food, great crowd, great music. Wonderful. Thanks to jack, the owner for organising such a brilliant night.

Love this cosy friendly hotel fantastic staff always happy and serve great food in the restaurant. The room are spotless clean and comfortable Jack has a brilliant place.

Great little hotel, clean rooms and the food is good. In a quiet part of town but easy access to other bars and restaurants.

Set in a beautiful location. Plat de Dias was excellent value. Fabulous host Jack who really looked after us.

Actually not open today only staffed for deliveries, but Jack soon sorted out some lovely Tapas and some nice cocktails,very nice way to spend the afternoon.
