Albergue De Mercadoiro

I had a healing time at a bar where I happened to stop by in the middle of the pilgrimage. Sandwich with lucola, salad with goda cheese, and even cold beer Thanks to the delicious food, today's fatigue is relieved. And the buzzer notification was the best.

+ Beautiful location and property
+ Nice lawn and open facilities
- Bathrooms were very far from my room... no deal breaker
- I guess there’s a barn or stable near by... late in the morning started to smell funny.

Overall great place. Would recommend it.

Love this place. located in open countryside in the woods. great food, wine and a stunning property. It gets busy at peak Camino times but is very peaceful at night. it is located a couple of kilometers after the 100km to go marker point

This is a very beautiful place, we had a wonderful nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. The food was fantastic and the local wine was very nice. The hosts are very attentive and made us feel like we were at home.

From sarria it took me roughly 4 hours to reach there and was about 17 or maybe 16 kms away. The Albergue is in middle of farmland and absolutely peaceful area. Super clean and with helpful owner. Reached before lunch, i had packed groceries from sarria and cooked on my stove but after looking at theur menu i regretted. Anyways the stay was absolutely pleasant. And this is probably an Albergue equalling a private residence or even 4* hotel if the bunk beds were not there. Even with bunkbeds its well worth the stay no matter what other people might think. Recommendation from a friend who planned whole trip for me with 3 other Albergues for me.. i loved stay at this one. Highly recommended. Book before hand as in high season this might be super busy.

I haven't slept here however the food is amazing .
Also the service is spot on.
If I knew before I would have gone for the full peregrino treat.

I had a reservation here but because I'm ahead of schedule, I canceled it and I wish I DIDNT. This place is so beautiful

Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. A good place to stay along the Camino.

Un oasis en el desierto en toda regla. Estábamos cerca de nuestro destino final pero la música cálida que sonaba desde dentro nos animó a entrar y todo lo que pedimos estaba rico. El lugar acogedor. Llovía, seguro que el sitio un día soleado gana aún más.

Era esto o dormir al aire libre y por suerte les quedaba una hab.libre. Buenísima la habitación. Las duchas y lavabo están arriba. Es lo malo si te toca estar abajo pero limpio, silencioso y puedes comer en el restaurante. Ideal para descansar y reserva con antelación porque sino lo siguiente es Portomarín y allí en temporada alta no vas a encontrar nada.

Ambiente inmejorable. Es el único albergue de Mercadoiro así que no tiene pérdida. Es una casa antigua a mi parecer preciosa y se come fenomenal. Como pega diré que la gente es muy mal educada y el baño estaba un poco sucio, pero eso es culpa de la gente no del albergue porque al llegar estaba todo impecable, quizás una fregona allí puesta para que cada uno friegue el suelo tras ducharse sería un punto a favor (no sé qué hace la gente al ducharse para crear piscinas olímpicas).

Una parada más por el Camino De Santiago y está muy bien.
Empanadilla de atún, el pulpo y seguimos el viaje.

Fue una casualidad encontrar el sitio porque me pillaba de paso en una de las etapas del camino de Santiago, pero que maravilla!!!
Las vistas super bonitas y el patio también, pero la comida estaba de escándalo.
Muy recomendable!!
Todo estaba súper bueno, pero el pan, la tortilla y las zamburiñas lo que más (en mi opinión)

En una ubicación preciosa, los edificios viejos del albergue fueron modernizados y se quedaron maravillosos. Para una noche es un lugar perfecto para descansar. El único pero para mí es que la comida, aunque fue riquísima, no era de cantidad suficiente para los peregrinos, que exigimos comida más fuerte para recuperar fuerzas. Aparte de eso, me encantó el lugar.
