Our host made the visit wonderful. Our stay was far above any others we experienced during our 34 days of walking the Camino. Best breakfast we have had in Spain. I recommend contacting the property directly, avoiding Booking or any other third party service.

Marcela greeted us and personally showed us our rooms. She also gave us directions for a walking tour of the town and recommendations for dinner. The next morning at breakfast Marcela gave us wonderful advice and encouragement as we started the Camino. I loved my stay here. There is an excellent garden terrace for relaxation, and the common rooms are comfortable as well.

What an awesome hotel with the most welcoming reception on the Camino so far (and that’s from Saint Jean PDP so that’s more than 30 hotels we’ve been to). We loved our corner room with European balconies, comfortablebeds and ensuite. Marcela was a joy to meet and couldn’t do enough to help us. She speaks excellent English and helped us get as much hot water as we needed for our fresh tea leaves!

The service was excellent and Marcela really looked after me and other guests with equal dedication and care. The breakfast was amazing and we were even able to take fruit and a sandwich for the Camino!

What a wonderful place to stay during “El Camino de Santiago”. All was good: the house, the rooms, the breakfast, but specially, Marcela, who received us with a great smile and hospitality even when we arrived late.
The breakfast was spectacular, quantity and quality (specially the pancakes). A must to stay in Sarria.

Unforgettable delicious home made food & breakfast. Comfy & clean classic style buildings/rooms. Refurbished bathroom. Superb warm and friendly host/ess Antonio & Marcela, who take care of their guests all time. The more we enjoyed the food and the stay, the happier they were.
A group of 35 people stayed for 2 days, split between the 2 buildings. We were all delighted. Simply be aware there's no lift. Thank You for a memorable stay 😊

Started my Camino here. Was a great place to begin my journey. The host Marcella helped me get oriented as I was about to begin. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was awesome. Really a lot more than I would expect.

The host was super friendly with fluent English speaking,room was cozy and clean ,
Single packed muffin,Hot coffee and tea are prepared in the morning for early leaving pilgrims.such a warm place start your journey.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed on the Camino and I think our most memorable. The owners were wonderful from the start -- they helped fix a confusing reservation and booked us an extra night after I injured my knee. They tended to every need, helping with bags, icing my knee, immediately fixing an issue with the wifi, etc. Most importantly, they genuinely care about their guests and have some amazing stories to share about other pilgrims, as well as their own personal journey. We also loved the environment and social atmosphere and got to meet a lot of great people. The albergue is down the street from the hostel and a different, quieter vibe, but that's where they have the private rooms and you still get access to everything at the hostel a block away. I'm sure it will be even better once they add the wine bar downstairs! Hope to be back to visit again one day and highly recommend!

The owner offered to drive us across town to the laundromat. Extremely hospitable and extremely nice people.

Breakfast was amazing and rooms were very clean (only 4 people in our room)- had a great sleep.

BEST PLACE during our Camino experience (29 days). This place is good for the soul. Amazing amenities, clean, spacious, the breakfast is INCREDIBLE, but the best part is it’s staff! Marcela, Silvana, Javi & Marce’s husband will make you feel like family. They are just amazing human beings. Thank you thank you for everything you do for pilgrims. We would love to come back. Ohhh and the private rooms in the Albergue are better than most hotels in Spain. Just lovely!!!! :)

This was easily one of our favorite albergues of our 5 plus weeks on the Camino. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. She booked us a table at the nearby restaurant Roma (highly recommended, BTW). The room was very clean and super comfortable. We would have loved to stay an extra night. The homemade breakfast is highly recommended and a welcome departure from the usual basic breakfasts on the Camino.

One of the friendliest alburgues​ on the Camino. Amazing hosts who go beyond the usual to help their pilgrim guests. And they serve an incredible home cooked breakfast. These hosts are a beautiful example of how the Camino can be so special!!!! Beautiful restored historic building too.

The host of this place makes it 10 stars out of 5. Marcella is the best host anyone could ask for. Nothing is too much trouble From the warm, welcoming fire, to the unexpected tea and coffee to the top tips about the best places to eat in town … all this is only outdone by the cleanliness of the place and the fabulous sense of humour and caring of the multi - lingual Marcella. Don’t miss this gem. ❤

Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was great! Just be mindful, there is no air conditioning, if that is something you need.

It was our first albuergue before starting the Camino. The owners Marcela & Antonio gave all the tips for the Camino. They also recommended an amazing taxi driver who helped us out all the way to Santiago. Highly recommend.
