One of the "must" in Aran Valley. Urtau has a family story of four generations. It is located in the heart of Arties and is perfect for doing the "aperitivo" or apres ski. It remember a basque tavern but it is typical aranesa.

Beside the pintxos they have different dishes and good wine and beer.

Desserts are awesome.

This place was fantastic for an aprés ski eat and beer (caña). Arties also looks to be one of the nicer small villages near Baquiera for just wandering about.

Amazing experience, would certainly return. We arrived at 8pm (early for Spain) expecting the place to be empty but it was packed. Loads of amazing tapas dishes lined the bar & we loved every one! Well, every one we tried because there was more choice than we could eat.

Great pinchos, OK selection of wines, nice warm outside area, and good service! The prices were high but for the area, still reasonable, so you can't really ask for much more can you! Recommend the patatas rellenas pincho!

We had a wonderful lunch last Wednesday. The food was delicious and we especially appreciated Cristian’s kind, professional service. We look forward to returning the next time we are in town.

One of the best meals we had in Spain. We got in late, but you could still feel a fun atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. I can't recommend the Iberian suckling pig appetizer enough. The foi gras was also delicious as well as the botifarra. It's all pretty salty though, so if that's not your thing, this might not be for you.

Wide-ranging and daily varying tasty tapas and menu options from Spanish to Japanese cuisine. Great choice for dinner but arrive early (around 19:00) to get table seating.

Fab place for tapas or a full meal. Always busy and recently remodeled the terrace area with glass sides and planters.

Great hamburger, good price and a nice service. They have an excellent tiramisu. The place is in front of the main plaza.
