Casa Grande da Capellanía

Rustic structure recently renovated and well maintained, close to a busy road but convenient for those that are doing the Camino de Santiago. Spacious and clean rooms, same goes for the bathrooms.
Alex, the guy at the reception, was wonderful and very kind with us, very helpful, he helped us with everything and satisfied our every request, also helping us with the language.
Very well kept common areas and back garden, in the garden there is also a swimming pool, ideal for a moment of relax.
Finally, a beautiful place to stay, where relaxation is guaranteed and we would definitely go back! I absolutely recommend it!

We had the entire hostel to ourselves! An immaculate albergue attached to the hotel, which is easy to find.
The manager is friendly and welcoming. Bunks come with sheets, pillow and blankets and lockers are available in the rooms. Washing machine and dryer available too. A great place to stay on the Camino.

When in need of silence and quietness, when your soul is urging for stillness, walk the extra mile to A Esclavitude... a rock solid chapter of century stories will shelter you. Look closely for the rich details and listen to the great storytelling receptionist who kindly delivers in patience knowledge 🙏

Service was charming and very attentive. The house is beautiful and well taken care of.

The hotel is absolutely lovely. Charming and well renovated, right next to the Church and on the St James pilgrimage way.
Alex, the owner is very professional and caters to the needs of the guests.
Make sure to book everything, though (dinner and breakfast). This place is literally the only thing open in this small town.

We stayed in the albuerge for one night. It seems all new and very clean. The beds are stable. In the kitchen there is a microwave and a fridge, no stove. The albergue is located right on the street but at night there is not much traffic.

Had an excepcional stay at Casa Grande da Capellania! The building dates back to the 1800s and has been thoughtfully preserved and renovated. The facilities are beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The host is super friendly and offers top notch hospitality. Would highly recommend it!

A bit close the road but otherwise clean as can be. Professionally managed. Great showers and facilities. I would recommend.

Lugar ideal para terminar una etapa del camino. Un hotel con mucho encanto. La persona de recepción de 10. Solo echemos a faltar un desayuno un poco más consistente.

Lugar excelente para el descanso del peregrin@.El jardín y la piscina invitan al relax.El hotel, en general,muy bueno arquitectura exterior y habitaciones grandes, buena sonorizacion, iluminación. Destacamos la amabilidad de Alex, muy competente.

Utilizei este hotel quando estava a fazer os caminhos de Santiago.
Muito bem localizado mesmo no caminho.
O Hotel é muito bonito, com uma arquitetura maravilhosa. Tem um jardim com piscina ótimo para relaxar e apanhar sol.
Os quartos são bons e a cama é confortável.
Achei o duche mal limpo.
Tem um perfume em todo o lado (, incluindo nos quartos) como sou alérgica a essas coisas desliguei logo.
O pequeno almoço começa só as 8:30 por isso não é adequado a peregrinos. E não está incluído no preço.
Em frente tem um restaurante onde fomos jantar, tem diárias a 11€ e está aberto todo o dia no stop.
Ao pé da igreja tem uma loja que vende batatas fritas, gomas, águas... A preço justo.
Por isso o hotel tem algumas opções em volta.
A simpatia do funcionário, penso que é dono também, é muito simples, não é tão acolorada como estamos habituados. Podia oferecer um copo de água da torneira a cada peregrino. Não pergunta como está a correr, se estamos cansados... Nada. Simplesmente faz o check in e abre a porta do quarto.

Pazo señorial perfectamente reformado que mantiene la estructura histórica y a su vez es moderno y perfectamente cómodo. Consta de piscina y un amplio jardín muy agradable. Las camas son comodídimas. Habitaciones muy amplias, limpias y confortables. La atención del recepcionista fue excelente. Ubicado en A Escravitude, junto a la iglesia y en pleno Camino de Santiago Portugués. Está perfectamente insonorizado a pesar de estar junto a la carretera. El pueblo es pequeño pero es agradable. Consta de dos restaurantes, uno de ellos justo frente al hotel. Lo recomiendo para una escapada romántica sin duda (aunque el pueblo sea pequeño, hay mucho que ver en los alrededores), y también para peregrinos que busquen una alternativa a dormir en Padrón, lo que les permitirá reducir la última etapa (que es lo que hicimos nosotros). Las únicas pegas que pondría son: no creo recordar haber visto ascensor, tiene un tramo de escaleras pero no sé si hay alternativa para personas de movilidad reducida. No dispone de restaurante si bien hay dos cerca y el desayuno está disponible solo si se solicita con un día de antelación (nosotros no lo probamos al no saber qué podíamos reservarlo).

Lugar ideal para descansar en el camino de Santiago. Alex un verdadero encanto ,nos ayudo muchísimo.Un sitio precioso para volver con más calma

Pasamos la noche en el hotel mientras hacíamos el camino, todo un apartamento para nosotros, muy cómodo y precioso el jardín. La calidad precio muy buena. El bar de al lado muy recomendado para comer y cenar, muy variado. La ubicación es un poco lejana a Padrón centro pero es muy recomendable para hacer una última etapa más corta. El servicio de Alex increíble, de los mejores que he visto y el desayuno es barato para todo lo que trae. Sin duda un lugar donde repetir.

Estuvimos mientras hacíamos el camino, y el sitio es espectacular. Tiene un terreno con jardín y piscina perfecto para descansar

Ein bezauberndes und individuelles Hotel mit Charme und einem sehr angenehmen und wohltuenden Besitzer. Er war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Abend hat er für uns ein köstliches Essen gekocht. Auf unserem Caminho Portugues costal eins der besten Essen und eins der besten Unterkünfte, die wir hatten. Ein kleines Paradies am letzten Punkt unseres Caminhos. Wir haben uns sehr über diesen entzückenden Aufenthalt gefreut und es tat uns als "Belohnung" kurz vor Ende unserer Reise sehr gut. Auch ein kleines Geschenk dieser Ort...
