Parador De Guadalupe Caceres

We just returned to Frigiliana from yet another memorable two nights at the Parador in Guadalupe. The view from the room (202) was spectacular. I got up both mornings to see the sun come up and hear the concert of the birds. I will remember this view for a long time.
The hotel is right in the center of the small charming town with easy parking. The courtyard is lovely, the staff us great, the food is great etc.
If there is one small issue it is the time dinner starts. 20:30 is too late for us and the bar does the same thing as far as food service, but that is really no complaint rather a suggestion. Thanks again and all the best to everyone.

Like all paradores in Spain, an absolute beauty and pleasure to visit. The 'patio andaluz' with all the citrus trees is a small oasis in the equally beautiful town of Guadalupe. A must see for visitors of the basilica and monastery next to it!

It was a beautiful resting and gastronomical experience. I suggest the pool would be open longer than September 18th at least from 9am to 10 am and from 19h to 20h, for those who love to swim in an early swimming or late arrival...

Great spot off the main tourist trail. Chilled staff and good food in the lovely garden. Take the monetary tour if you can. Awesome.

Central to the beautiful town of Guadalupe in the former royal monastery. Eating on the terrace is a joy. Drinking in the future filled square is equally so. New rooms have a balcony. Food is excellent.

The stay was great. Yes the hotel’s building is dated (after all it is a few centuries old..), but all the facilities work perfectly and are updated. The only thing I would say is key card locks instead of the old fashioned key? But honestly I think things like the key makes the experience there more authentic. The hotel perfectly matches the feeling of the city and what its history is about.

What a great place to stop between Seville and Madrid. We stopped in Guadalupe and had a fantastic lunch at the Parador while travelling home from Seville. An excellent Menu Traditionale in a sunny courtyard under blossoming lemon and orange trees. MAGIC!!!

Very nice historic hotel (an old hospital), next to the monastery. Lovely rooms, great inner courtyard with restaurant and bar, nice swimming pool, excellent breakfast.

Direct at the heart of the town, less than a minute from the town square. Great dinner also

Very nice Parador. Guadalupe is a charming place to walk around.

Esta justo al lado del monasterio.
El personal muy amable, nos dieron una habitación de categoría superior, fantástica!!!
La comida muy rica y de primera calidad.
Dos días geniales, en un parador magnífico, tranquilo y en el centro.

Lugar con mucho encanto en uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España.
Habitación preciosa en el propio claustro, grande y con una amplia terraza. Vistas al propio jardín interior. Quizá el único inconveniente es el ruido de las cenas del comedor que está justo debajo.
Personal y trato inmejorable, como es habitual en Paradores.
Si pudiera le daría un punto más, por ser petfriendly, que a pesar de que lo cobran a parte, no todos los Paradores lo tienen incluido.
Indispensable: el garaje, con una puerta algo estrecha (pero te habitúas rápidamente si conduces por la zona).
Patio interior precioso con naranjos.
Quizá eché de menos una visita guiada al propio Parador, como tienen otros de la cadena.
Sí debo mencionar que a pesar de las rampas y la adecuación del ascensor (que estaba en obras cuando nosotros fuimos), hay bastante escalón/escaleras; aunque es de esperar conociendo la orografía del terreno.

La red de Paradores en España es un lujo allá donde vayas. La calidad de sus instalaciones, arquitectura, ubicación y servicios es excelente. En este parador en concreto quiero destacar especialmente el trato de un camarero de la cafetería cuyo nombre es José María, por su profesionalidad, trato respetuoso y afectuoso y por su amabilidad constante. Del resto, ninguna queja sino todo lo contrario. Sin duda volveré

Fuimos a almorzar y tuvieron mucha atención con las intolerancias. El trato muy atento y agradable, la pena fue no poder comer en los patios, había que reservar con antelación.
El sitio está totalmente céntrico, justo en frente del monasterio y la iglesia. Es un enclave muy tranquilo una vez entras sientes la tranquilidad, con el patio, las plantas y las fuentes.
No conozco las habitaciones, pero recomiendo la comida, abundante y de calidad.

Lugar especial. Recomendable si buscas alojarte en un sitio distinto. Además Guadalupe es un pueblo precioso, con muchísimo encanto. Un lugar perfecto para una escapada.

Fui en familia a pasar un par de días para visitar el monasterio y el pueblo que son preciosos. Está al lado del Monasterio de Guadalupe, el edificio es precioso y está muy bien acondicionado. Los camareros y los de recepción son encantadores. Se come estupendamente en el restaurante, recomiendo el postre de helado de queso de cabra y miel. El patio y el jardín es precioso, la zona de la piscina está bien y hay una sala de estar súper agradable. Recomiendo comer en el restaurante se esté alojado o no, y tener en cuenta que el pueblo está lleno de cuestas y hay bastante empedrado. Las habitaciones, y en realidad todo el parador, tiene mucho encanto.
