In the natural park of the Delta del Ebro I discovered the barracks. These humble and simple constructions are much more resistant and functional than they seem. For centuries they were used by different types of inhabitants of the Delta -as fishermen, hunters or farmers, permanently or temporarily. As I looked at them, I made the following reflection: if we need so little to survive, why do we always insist that having more is necessarily better?
