Hotel Las Palmas en Carboneras

We live in Spain, only an hour away, and try to find new places to stay when we are celebrating a special event. What a gem of a find this was.

We loved the location, which is very close to the sandy beach, away from the noise of local restaurants, which is walkable along the promenade, if needed.

The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were genuinely friendly, and seemed to appreciate us trying out our Spanish. Antonio was especially lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. This was despite it being the end of a very busy season.

Our room was just right, with the bonus of tea making facilities and the wonderful and unexpected bottle of Cava upon our arrival. A wonderful surprise and something larger chains could take note of! They really do know how to make their guests feel special here.

Our room was at the top, with the large terrace, wow! What a great space and the view was to die for, with large tankers and yachts mooring up, with their lights twinkling in the night. (The floor below had much smaller balconies)

This is noted on Google Maps as a 2 star hotel. When you look past the tired decoration in places (especially our room) and a filtration plant in the distance, there is NOTHING we could fault about this hotel. We've stayed in 4 star hotels in Spain (and the UK) that doesn't compare to this.

I will return. If not to stay, then I will most definitely visit the beach for the day and stop by the wonderful restaurant and to see the staff. Make sure you're hungry if you order the steak!! The continental breakfast (included with the room) was delicious and very filling, Tostada, cheese, ham, cake, coffee, fresh orange juice, jams... topped off with a view from the terrace of the beach and palm trees, with a huge dose of relaxing vibes.

The 5 stars really go to the hotel's restaurant! The most amazing scallops I have ever tried!!! Totally recommended. Everything was so fresh, excelently prepared and nicely presented. Dishes are abundant, one can actually dine just fine with the Seafruit salad alone but still: don't miss on rhe scallops! Nice variety of wine, beers and spirits. The staff is very polite, stylish in manners and quite attentive. The restaurant can be accessed through the hotel or directly from the terase at the boardwalk Paseo Maritimo. Excelent seaviews for lunch and wonderful seabreeze at dinnertime. A perfect location for a romantic dinner or to enjoy a meal in a small group.

Quería dar las gracias a Antonio, nos has hecho sentir como en casa. Han sido unos días muy agradables, cómodos y lo mejor a 5 metros de una playa maravillosa.
La habitación cuádruple fantástica, las camas muy cómodas y la terraza espectacular.
Sin duda, volveremos !!

Hemos quedado encantados tanto con el alojamiento como con el restaurante. Acabamos de irnos y ya tenemos planeado repetir y recomendarlo a todo el mundo.
Nos alojamos en el hostal. Ubicación ideal, a dos calles de la playa y el paseo marítimo. Limpieza de 10, todos los días pasan a limpiar y a cambiar las toallas. La habitación recién reformada. 100€ la noche con desayuno incluido. Para desayunar hay que desplazarse hasta el hotel (que está al lado en el paseo marítimo). Y aquí fue donde descubrimos lo mejor de este alojamiento, su personal. Todos súper amables y simpáticos, un ambiente familiar y acogedor que te hacen sentir como en casa. Los dos chicos del desayuno no pueden ser más encantadores, y por supuesto Isabel es maravillosa. Desayunas con vistas al mar y te ponen gran cantidad (tostadas, bizcocho, fruta, zumo). Pongo foto del desayuno incluido en el precio de la noche.

En cuanto al restaurante, disponen de menú del día con variedad. Todo esta riquísimo y, al igual que en el desayuno, platos bien servidos de cantidad. La bebida incluye una tapa a elegir.

Das Hotel mit Restaurant ist direkt am Strand mit einer unglaublich schönen Sicht auf das Meer.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut, und der Service ist unvergleichlich. Ganz toll.
Wir sind länger geblieben, weil es uns ordentlich gut gefallen hat.
Wir hatten eine Suite im oberen Stockwerk, mit einer sehr großen Terrasse und dem gleichen, wunderbaren Blick auf Strand und Meer, dazu noch ein paar Palmen.

Hotel muy recomendable. Relación calidad precio excelente. Ubicación perfecta,limpieza diaria con cambio de toallas. El desayuno estaba incluido,buenísimo todo. Mención especial a Junior,quien nos atendió todos los días con una sonrisa,un trato cercano,atento y muy agradable. Repetiremos estancia seguro

Se come muy bien y cantidad exagerada, con vistas al mar un paraíso.
La comida está muy buena calidad precio.
Los empleados todos super atentos para que te sientas como en casa.

Comimos una fritura en el restaurante y nos gustó mucho. Todo fresco y con muy buen sabor. La zona y las vistas son maravillosas. El personal muy atento y servicial.

Maravilloso sitio para alojarse en Carboneras. Es un hotel familiar con restaurante y ubicado en un sitio privilegiado. Las habitaciones son geniales, con vistas al mar. En el restaurante se come muy bien pero lo que más destaca es el servicio, siempre cercano y agradable. Es un lugar de 10. Muy recomendable.
