I have nothing but good things to say about our local hospital. Extremely quick appointments, extra tests on the spot.
A&E can be a bit overwhelming, and I would recommend taking a translator if possible.
The general attitude in Spanish hospitals may seem brusque to us British, but the care is excellent. Also, a lot of the specialists speak good English, but it's not guaranteed.

As English speaking foreigners visiting this hospital - we were nervous about the language barrier. We speak some Spanish, and all the staff were amazing. so kind and helpful. A few of them spoke English, even our doctor was fluent (self taught - he explained). Great service and a great hospital.

Very quick swift service, highly recommend this hospital. I was seen within a few hours. Very polite and kind staff. The doctor Maria jose was wonderful & kind. Thank you so much 😊🙏😊🙏

From seeing my doctor to being referred to an ENT specialist to having surgery was 8 weeks. I have the greatest of respect and thanks to everyone involved with my care,
I'm on my journey to full recovery. Even though I speak the language everyone I came into contact with who knew I am English spoke to me in English.

Having spent a month in Huercal Overal Hospital I have to say my expeirence was far better than I had ever expected. I have been looked after with so many tests scans and ultrasounds etc making sure nothing was missed. From the queen of very fussy eaters the food was good - I didn't like everything but wouldn't have eating out either ! on the whole very good and certainly not left hungry at any time.
So many thanks to Dr.Alba and others - all the nurses who helped with my care who actually saved my life - giving me a short sharp shock with reality !! which can only be a good thing.
Last and by no means least the cleaners who were keeping the hospital as clean as possible at all times with a cheery smile and hello also the porters.
In all a 5 ***** rating and a very big Thank-you for saving my life.

Was an in patient here after a fall at home. Speak very little Spanish but never felt ignored. The staff were very good, patient, kind and reassuring. Had operation for patella # and wrist #. All went very well and again Care was excellent. Although I hope never to return as a patient if I had to go to a hospital I would feel better knowing this kind of care was available. I was a nurse for 46 years and hope I was as good at my job s these nurses were. Hospital was very clean and well organised. Thank you.

A first class hospital, the staff were very professional and very thorough. We had our second child here and we were very happy how they treat you.
We came from England to have our children here and I have to say that this hospital is like a private hospital in England.

Staff won't speak English but who speak Spanish in England??...

A first class hospital,very thorough very professional My wife was in hospital for 10 days and they did not stop until they had resolved the problem. The nursing staff were excellent and helpful. yes not many spoke English but how many UK hospital staff speak Spanish??
Hospital food was absolutely wonderful ,

Admitted following a leg injury I was through triage, xray, blood tests, ECG, Covid testing and told I needed surgery within three hours. Took a while to get to a ward but in and out following surgery in four days. Staff were excellent and the level of care first class.

After several visits to my local healthcare with disastrous results, I went to Huercal Overs hospital and got the best care in 5 hours that they didn't give me in Mojacar for 3 months. Everything was excellent, the doctors, nurses and other person's.

I recently had quite a complicated neck operation and cannot praise the surgeons of the ENT dept enough.Thank you to all the lovely nurses that looked after me.Brilliant hospital and staff,

Am 17.12.2023 waren mein Mann und ich in der Notaufnahme. Es stellte sich heraus, dass wir beide eine Lungenentzündung hatten. Wir wurden schnell und kompetent behandelt. Können nur positiv urteilen.

Quiero mostrar mi gratitud a la sección de la 600 de medicina interna del Hospital La Inmaculada . Llevamos desde noviembre con mi padre muy malito, ha tenido muchos ingresos en Torrecardenas, donde me reservo los comentarios porque aquí no procede. Cada vez que ha ingresado en La Inmaculada el trato ha sido inmejorable, desde urgencias, observaciones y planta. En este último ingreso su médico es el doctor Antonio Mostazo Aranda un hombre del que destacaría su humanidad, empatía, paciencia y tacto, es cercano, explica, atiende ,entiende la situación de los familiares y gran profesional con sus pacientes . Así mismo a todas l@s celadoras, auxiliares, enfermeras, cariñosas, delicadas y agradables. En momentos difíciles se agradece dar con un equipo humano. Mil gracias !
