Paella is absolutely recommended! It was big portion, waitress was lovely, service is superb.

Price is OK, paella per person 15 euro is kind of standard price here. We ordered mixed paella and there were lots of chickens, pork and shrimp inside.

Definitely recommended if you are here for paella.

Imo and the wifes best food of our 10 day break and we had some really god food in that time. Mrs had not just king prawns but humongous king prawns in a champagne sauce with rice and chips 😋 👌, I had chicken in a thick creamy mushroom sauce with Spanish potatoes and veg, magnificent, service excellent anf for a restaurant alcohol prices reasonable, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Had the Paella here tonight. We went for the mixed Paella, it was amazing. Friendly staff. Very reasonable.

We had a paella for three, it was lovely, plenty of seafood including prawns and crayfish, and more than enough for three.
Great service and good value.

Dinner at la casa rustica
One our favourites that we used to eat here at least 3 times a week when living here.
It's on the main strip in Fuengirola where most of the tourist restaurants are.

It's run by the same owners for as long we can remember and it's still very good.

We sat inside because it's away from the hustle and bustle outside.
They have a retractable roof so it's like sitting outside, but in.

We had our usual favourites

Gambas Pil Pil
(Which as you can see, is a must)
Scrambled egg with Prawns & Serrano

Mains
Grilled Sole
Fillet Steak with Malaga wine sauce.

The food is all very good here and they have plenty of choice on the menu.

Service is top notch even when they are busy, which is most night's.
Well worth a visit if your ever in Fuengirola.

Amazing food and atmosphere!

First visit to Fuengerola & we stumbled on this gem of a place! We ordered the three course meal for €16.95. Excellent food at a price that seemed too good to be true. Starters included, pate, soup, prawn & avocado salad( I chose this & wasn't disappointed) Mains included, sea bream, salmon fillet(my pick- it was very succulent) pork ribs & chicken escalope. Good range of desserts, the waiter recommended the toffee tart, one member of our party got this & it went down a treat, however I was struggling so opted for the lighter choice of strawberries with cream. When I return to Spain , will certainly go again - I would recommend booking a table, to avoid disappointment.

If you haven't been here before it's a great way to test it out if it's for you.

Our fave is the Prawn pil pil for starters.

You will not find a better place to eat in Fuengirola, all the food is amazing as are the staff. The food is made with love and the staff treat you like family. We have been on more than one occasion and every time everything has been faultless. This is our goto gappy place and is an experience not to be missed. Thank you to all our friends that made my wife's 50th birthday so memorable 💖

We absolutely loved this place.

The food was delicious, upmarket, and fresh. The service was friendly, and attentive.

The gazpacho was phenomenal, as was the prawn and avocado (pictured).

Excellent food and service. Juan has looked after us on our visits for over 20 years. Still as good as ever.

Juan and his team are always very welcoming. They will always try to fit you in without a booking ( booking in advance is advised). The food is always very tasty, very reasonably priced and always a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. The inside has a retractable roof which is perfect for the summer and can be closed if it rains in the winter. Highly recommend a visit to La Casa Rustica.

Beautifully cooked and presented food. I really liked the ambiance inside the restaurant too, lovely decor and nice classical music playing.

Paella 10/10. My mums Paella will always be the best, but this paella came very close.

Fantastic place every time we go, cannot recommend them enough. Steaks highly recommended on the menu. We will definitely be coming again next time we're in Spain!
