Restaurante Rio-Mar

One of the best places we have visited along the Alicante coast so far. The newer/younger staff is sometimes a bit clumsy, but the food and friendliness is so good that it doesn’t matter. The paella was very nice and the same can be said about the salads. Also the squid (Andalusian style) is a classic which is available here.

We had lunch, Caesar salad is big but mostly lettuce could do with a few different salads, lamb chops were delicious but fatty, hamburger was delicious, the fries are also delicious, overall nice to sit outside and take the dogs, if you do t like sitting on the sand there are alternative tables on the roadside. Will visit again.

A nice relaxed place to have a meal by the sea.
We only went in for a drink, but ended up having lunch, which was really tasty, even my husband enjoyed it and he's difficult to please.
Nicely decorated and very clean.
Staff were welcoming and pleasant.

The food was really really good. Nothing fancy just top quality ingredients done well. Pluma de lomo and tuna fresh from the market, with homemade cheesecake and a seriously good flan calatrava. Dog friendly, good service.

That was an amazing paella! And a lovely view and friendly service too.

Just had the menu of the day here. 21.50€. Very pleasant waitress, beautiful setting & the food was very good. The menu included bread with alioli followed by 3 starters - carpaccio, curried meatballs & creamy onion soup. For our main dish, 2 of us shared arroz a banda, whilst the other had fish (cod).Finally, one had flan,the other pudding & I had a coffee. We really enjoyed our meal.

Lovey coffee, the food came quick and satisfied our thirst. When it was so hot, this oasis was the savior of our long walk across the sand. The beautiful scenery and atmosphere made the late breakfast a wonderful experience.

Great place and superb value for money. Delighted to find that it was frequented by the local guardian civil and other workers - always a good sign. Three excellent courses, coffee and liqueur for €10. Situated on a small beach.

Food is amazing! Fresh and good portion! Best patatas bravas ever and you won’t be disappointed with the other dishes either! Definitely recommend!

This place has improved massively over the last few years. The service is outstanding and the food is very good both in quality and value. A really attractive outdoor space and covered terrace.
