We LOVED our lunch here. The owner was so kind and helpful, as we have some food allergies (gluten and dairy free). The food we got was absolutely amazing, the vegetarian lasagna and the curry chicken.
Very pleased with our experience and would LOVE to come back! 10/10 would recommend!👏🏼👏🏼

In the month of June, we were strolling around Toledo to find something to eat, and we found it. Their menus with posted prices are published outside of their building in Spanish, French, and English. The personal can efficiently communicate in English, the service is quick, and food is very tasty as a homemade. There is a big patio outside and comfortably cool inside with a good internet connection.

Just happened across this restaurant as we were walking around Toledo. Menu looked like it had a good variety so we decided to give it a try. It was, in my opinion the best comfort food we found here in Toledo. It was a chilly day and the vegetable cream soup and lasagna warmed me right up. The owner was very friendly and talkative. I would definitely come back to this place and recommend it as a laid back spot with delicious food.

A small neighborhood restaurant that offers great prices for fine food and wine. We had dinner here 4 nights straight going through the menu. Food and service are exceptional. We'll be dining here again tonight, our last evening in Toledo.

The service was great! It had a nice terrace/outside sitting that had shade at 2pm, just in time for lunch. I had the toast with goat cheese, asparagus and a tomato jelly that was incredible. The mix green were honestly really good too. My husband had the spinach tortellini and cheese.

A very simple road side café restaurant in the old.city located near a small square with large.trees. Angel the owner served us oxtail in red wine and venison in red wine. They were delicious in a very traditional cuisine way. Recommended heartily!

Excellent local food in Toledo, we had the Careamusas Toledanas pork stew, the carillada iberico manchega pork cheeks in cheese sauce, pesto spaghetti, and venison in mushroom cream sauce. All were very good! We wished we had more time in Toledo so that we can sample more of the food here. The patio under the trees provided a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere for lunch too. we also like that the place is away from the crowded main square but not too remotely located from the center. Excellent all round !!

A nice bar in the old town of Toledo. A pleasant place to sit. You can also sit outside (if it is not raining). The menu is tasty (at least from the three dishes we ordered). The staff are nice and the service is excellent and personal. We were very nice and pleasant. The walls are full of paintings and a special place to sit there.

they make their own beers and very good beers. Be sure to stop by to try real local beers! The manager is a very sweet man.

Nice hidden place. Ordered menu of the day for lunch. Chicken soup, pork stew, cheesecake. All was tasty, food was hot and fresh. Cheesecake is not overly sweet, great quality. Definitely dine here again.

Lovely casual bar restaurant serving up their own brewed beers, freshly cooked dishes and a soundtrack of blues. Owner speaks english, and is helpful. Food was great. Had mussels in a slightly spicy tomato sauce, and the gambas al ajillo. Both very good.

The staff and owner were first rate. Not the real tourist spot some of the other cafe are.

We stumbled upon this place and decided to get lunch and drinks on the cozy, shadded terrace. Prices were reasonable, it wasn't too busy, and the food was delicious. We got one of their salads and the cheese board (which I definitely recommend). There was only one waiter working, he was kind and attentive.

Stumbled upon by complete accident, off the beaten track. Had beer and my wife had good local wine. The best prices we encountered in all of Toledo. Came back for dinner, turned out that our waiter was also the owner, Angel who speaks passable English. Dinner was delicious oxtail stew and deer in wine sauce. He doesn't close down and keeps his kitchen open during siesta.

Best pizza ever. Great tapas. What a great surprise.

My family and I found this cafe by accident, and even though it was just a few minutes from the cathedral, it felt like a hidden gem--much quieter than the crowds we had just left behind. Even though we just ordered some snacks and drinks, the waiter was great, and the food was good. Also, our son has multiple food allergies, and the waiter was patient in talking it through with us. Would love to go back someday.

This place was such a great surprise! We had gotten lost and wandered upon this little oasis. Off the beaten path a bit Angel made us feel welcome with his warm hospitality. His knowledge of the regional food was interesting and his passion for the food was immediately appreciated.
We had regional wine and Rabo de toro, a hearty stewed bull tail tender and bathed in a rich sauce.
The other dish was venison in wine sauce. To die for. He gave us lots of bread to mop up the sauce and we didn’t leave a drop.
Unpretentious, home cooking that was very satisfying.

Welcoming owner who is greatly knowledgeable about Toledo and its history and is willing to share. Brews his own beers. Small but welcoming patio for outside seating. Great, casual, traditional Spanish plates.
