Restaurante El Cabo

It's very rare for a restaurant to make it onto my "Approved List" after a single visit, but Gurasoak simply ticks all the boxes. Thoughtful, carefully prepared and presented modern Mediterranean food, accompanied by smiley knowledgeable service and the waving palms on the beach outside. If you know where else you can get all this for less than 50€ a head, let me know. Meantime, get in your fastest car and go here before a certain French rubber manufacturer gives them a star and the prices double.

I have gone to Carboneras with my partner for less than a week. We repeated this restaurant twice. It has amazing service, great food, and even better views to the beach. The second time we went we repeated the same bottle of wine and asked the waiters if they knew where we could buy a couple for family. They went out of their way to bring us one from their own reserve. Could not recommend this restaurant enough for the people who run it and the food on their menu.

A little gem in Carboneras, the food serve there is just fabulous, from starter to the dessert was a real experience of savour. Will highly recommend to try this place.

I have to say that in here I had one of my best dinner from my Honey Moon around Spain. Spectacular corvina in front of the sea in a calm area perfect to destress yourself with a goof company. Inmaculate service.

Excellent fusion food, everything was tasty. We shared the ceviche de gambas which came with a mango / coconut mousse and a pistachio ice-cream, delicious! I had the bacalao, also really really good. The wine was great too! Would happily come back!

I have eaten in most of the recommended restaurants by the locals of Carboneras. This one was a very pleasant surprise! Good service, presentable waiters and good food, not only in taste, but also in its elaboration, presentation and chosen ingredients. Of course, the location is superb as well. At least one place where the little details were catered for ... which is very rare in Spain I must (sadly) say!

Amazing place for seafood lovers, great service. Starters look expensive, however they can be easily shared. Nice ideas, twists and crossovers throughout the menu on traditional spanish dishes.

Beautiful restaurant in most gorgeous setting... Menu a little pretentious but all I wanted was double egg and fries... Was not on menu... But delivered with complements and every bit as much as if ordering the choice dish of the day...!!! Would definitely revisite ... Thank you guys... !!! X

Great mediterian dishes and tapas, also offering daily menu during vacation time. Located directy at the promenade with nice view to the sea.

Das Essen war von hervorragender Qualität und der Blick auf den Strand einfach atemberaubend. Geschmackvoll angelegte Beete ergänzen das stimmige Gesamtbild perfekt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut angemessen und trug maßgeblich zu einem rundum gelungenen Abend bei. Einziger Verbesserungspunkt wäre die Aufstockung des Servicepersonals, da zwei Personen für den Andrang kaum ausreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Atención plena desde que nos sentamos. El detalle de bienvenida y el pan de masa madre con aceite espectacular. Optamos por compartir varios entrantes y nos los presentaron ya divididos en porciones de forma individual. Imposible decidir un plato estrella, cada uno tiene una mezcla de sabores que los hace especiales. Para terminar, la tarta basta de queso es un completo acierto. Pd.: ¡Agradecemos el trato recibido!

Fuimos a almorzar 2 personas el domingo pasado y la atención fue inmejorable por parte de todo el personal. Se respiró un ambiente tranquilo, con música suave de ambiente y el trato fue personalizado en todo momento.

Tomamos una botella de vino blanco Cristina Calvache, típico de Almería, que estaba delicioso. Para comer, pedimos las ostras, el puerro relleno, el bacalao y el tartar de carne. Sin duda, todo estuvo increíble, además de que parte de la preparación de los platos fue en vivo. De postre tomamos los profiteroles, que estaban muy ricos, y la tarta de queso, que estaba impresionante y solo por probarla merece la pena ir hasta allí (las demás reseñas no exageran).

El restaurante estaba limpio, fresquito y era luminoso, con vistas a la playa. En el baño había disponible todo lo que uno pueda necesitar, desde productos de higiene íntima hasta desodorante y toallitas.

Repetiría sin duda la experiencia, pues fue una comida para recordar.
