One of the best restaurants in the village! amazing service from the sommelier, perfectly cooked meals from the chef! a true gastronomical experience! dont skip!

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. The beef tataki & shrimp ravioli were our favorites, but all the plates were amazing. Our waiter went above and beyond which heightened the experience even more.

The food and service were both excellent! We ate here in May, during our trip to Barcelona and SW France. It was one of my favorite meals. We tried many dishes and enjoyed them all, my two favorites were the calamari surprise and burrata salad. The town and setting are beautiful, if you are in the area, you should not miss this gem!

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The town is so stunning and picturesque and if you want to put the icing on the cake, treat yourself to lunch at Cala Nena. The food is sensational, bursting with flavour in every dish and the service is fantastic. We’ll make this an annual occurrence now.

Tomatoes and mozzarella for starter, the mozzarella was so creamy and local produced tomatoes delicious.
Main dish was the beef Tataki with sides and was succulent.

Cala Nena was by far the best meal we have had in Spain! We have travelled from Barcelona to Valencia and everywhere in between. I am still dreaming about this dinner! We stayed at Casa Rei. This destination was a dream!

Went today-waiter was so lovely and spoke both Spanish and English. The food was excellent. Would recommend the burrata and the salmon salad. Will go again next time we visit.

Ca la nena és un petit restaurant situat al bell mig de la plaça de les voltes, a Peratallada, el poble de visita obligada si ets a l'empordà i que no deixa a ningú indiferent, les pedres plenes de història et conviden a imaginar i crear històries viscudes i històries que tot just comencen en els seus carrers empedrats... Ca la nena és la cirereta del pastís, no hi ha res millor que un bon àpat per tancar un bon record, el cap de sala fa de director d'orquestra presentant i servint el seguit de plats que surten a escena com si és tractés d'un concert al palau de la música, conjunt de sabors i colors, tracte excel·lent, lloc acollidor i un preu raonable, vetllada tranquil·la, en família, per omplir una nova pàgina del llibre dels records...

CRÍTICA GASTRONOMICA JOAN- UNA PROPUESTA GASTRONOMICA ESPECTACULAR.
Esta en una esquina de la plaza. Muy íntimo pocas mesas.
Hacemos el menu degustación un Paseo por Cala Nena. Explicación detallada de cada plato.
Sardina ahumada con mascarpone(lomo von base de cebolla pochada)muy rico.
Tartar  de tomate con burrata y rucula, con pan con tomate.
Plato de temporada hoy es el Tartar de atún del Mediterraneo(con salsa wasabi(muy potente) ,sal negra y hojas verdes japonesas y gengibre), muy original la presentación y delicioso el atún.
Orquestra de calamares, patata con mantequilla ahumada huevo poche, trompetas de la muerte y calamares salteados, su plato estrella, es brutal.
Postre las bombillas de crema inglesa (explotan en la boca) concopita licor de cafe y trufas de chocolate, delicioso.
Todo exquisito, muy bien presentado y excelentemente servido y cocinado al momento. Un 10. Francamente recomendable. He disfrutado mucho.

Slowfood en lugar de paso turístico. Reserva tu mesa como si fueras al teatro. Respeta los tempos y disfruta del espectáculo. Déjate envolver por el saber hacer, el gusto por mimar cada plato, cada detalle y cada comensal. Para fluir sin prisas, a fuego lento. Muy recomendable para los que entendáis y respetéis el buen oficio.

Espectacular la experiencia!! A todos los niveles, la comida exquisita!! El trato cercano, la dueña y cocinera se acercó, nos contó de la filosofía gastronómica que nos encanto, el camarero super atento y simpático, todo de 10, os dejo foto de los postres, por que lo demás ni tiempo de foto le dimos de lo rico que estaba todo!!

Gran descubrimiento. Restaurante con una decoración exquisita que crea un ambiente acogedor. Materia prima de calidad y elaboraciones muy cuidadas. Las raciones son pequeñas y se recomienda compartir los platos. Tienes que saborear cada plato porque en cada uno se nota la pasión. Trato muy bueno y grandes recomendaciones.
