A lovely local place full of charm and down to earth service ! The menu del dia is superb value and tasty - I had caldo gallego, chicken chips, dessert and half a bottle of wine for just 13 euros . There was a lovely buzz when I was there as the place was packed but service was still prompt.

This was a necessary stop for lunch and dinner as the closest other option is a grocery store 30 minutes away. The pilgrim menu is cheap. The lacón (pork) is a way better option than the chicken, which was dry. The pasta was better than the caldo gallego for a first dish. And I liked the Arroz con leche better than the ice cream cake, which seemed prepackaged.

Perfect place.
The staff is lovely, and very very helpful, they go out of their way to help you.
We eat their menu (9,50) including wine and desert.
I don't usually eat soup, but their "Caldo Galego" is just perfect for a starving walker.
Great place to eat and afterward have a few drinks if you are so inclined.

Great hospitality ! They only have one menu for pilgrims with 3 courses (soup/salad, main and dessert) for 12 euro. Portions are big and the atmosphere is great.
Definitely a must to as a pilgrim in the area.
Kitchen closes at 8pm, breakfast starts at 9am with coffee and toasts.

Absolutely delicious food. A 100% must-stop place for pilgrims walking on Camino Inglés. Maria, the owner, is the kindest and sweetest woman. She will make sure you are full and happy. Also, if you are lucky, a local resident may teach you to play “Tute,” the local version of spades.

At 10 euro for 3 courses plus a drink it's a winner for me. This community looked after us after a long day walking and I'm grateful for them. Thank you!

This place provides excellent food. Definitely Spanish and has great staff. The food is wonderful and has plenty of choices. Nothing beats this place. You will enjoy this experience even if you haven't had a Spanish dish before this place is a must if you are in need of Spanish food or you are nearby to this place.

What a welcoming spot , i loved it . After getting settled in the albergue i walked on to this lovely little restaurant / bar . The lady there was so so helpful and nice ... i as always get settled with a wine or beer before seeing how the land lays in regards to food . I enjoyed several glasses of the white wine and then ordered food .... with a gesture (after seeing some other peregrinos eating ) lovely !!!! Got served a large serving bowl on the table of the galican soup , after 4 dishes i finished it . Then got served a chicken leg with sauteed potatoes .... lovely ... just what the doc ordered . I enjoyed a few more and maybe a few more wines after that , i asked for the bill and handed a €50 note to the lady ,she gave me change in notes which i put quickly into my wallet .. i left a €5 tip under my wine glass on the bar as i left ... when i checked walking across to the albergue i had only been charged €10 euros ALL food & wine .... i was amazed and embrassed .. once i reach santiago im going to sent a thankyou card and a proper € thankyou . Lovely lady and a nice cosy spot after a hard days walk ... please call in , you will not be disappointed .
