Amazing place: peaceful, silent, big rooms, balcony and breakfast. Lovely hosts that will help you to plan your trip. Nice garden on near the house. Most beautiful place I have ever been. Love to come back.

I have been in this house 3 times and each time has been an extraordinary experience at every level. Friendliness, cleanliness and the best home grown food ever!. I loved the location and the proximity to Bermeo (great town, worth exploring and eating in). There is a reason I keep coming back to this life recharging place; it is a rare jewel.

My grandmother and I arrived in the evening and were only going to be there one night. We realized that we should have stayed much longer, because this place is unique. If you are in the area you must stay here. If not, it will be the biggest mistake of your life. One of the five men who run the place and the area together, received us when we arrived. He was wonderful. It was even better in the morning before we left. One of the others who runs the place, cooked for us, and sat and talked with us for well over an hour. The breakfast was vegan and incredibly good. The three of us sat and talked about everything. Their completely unique story about how they have built absolutely everything from scratch more or less all by themselves, how capitalist predation on humans, other animals and nature destroys our world, and how to live in the best possible way to have the lowest possible carbon footprint. Again, an absolutely wonderful and unique experience; one you will remember for the rest of your life. Really hope I can go back one day.

The host is super friendly. Rooms and everything is very clean. You feel like home. Breakfast is served in an unique way. View and atmosphere is amazing.

We were travelling with an electrical car and the host woke up very early at 5 am to make sure our car was fully charged when we left. This was so sweet. Thank you very much.

Lurdeia is wonderful place to stay. The hosts actually live to make this world a better place. They are inspiring and joyful. The room was great and the accomodation had all facilities we could require, including a charger for electric car. The property is beautiful and peaceful and there is much to see nearby. We expected that it would be great, but it was even better!

Amazing place and people. We felt totally at home from the first moment. The house is beautiful, the views stunning, breakfast excellent. All the benefits of staying in a farmhouse, without any of the smells, as they only produce organic fruit and vegetables, which taste delicious. You have a kitchen and dining area, so you can cook in peace (but food nearby is excellent, so you will be tempted to go out). You need a car to get here (40 min from Bilbao airport). We will definitely come back

I visited Casa Lurdeia in June 2019 and absolutely loved it. Rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious, the location is gorgeous... The owners love what they do and you can tell. I loved that they built everything you see around with their own hands and along decades they have transformed the area in a little paradise with a great variety of plants, a little pond, their own farm and a huge vegetables garden that you can try if you ask for it. They also offer you a little explanation about their story during the breakfast time. This business is pure commitment to society, to the project, to their customers, and to nature. Definitely this is not just another guest house... not even close. Thanks guys for the hard work!

This wonderful rural hotel was just what we needed this summer to escape the hustle and heat of the city. Located near the top of the hills overlooking the sea, the views are spectacular.
Apart for having nicely appointed rooms and decoration, they offer use of a shared kitchen that can be used to cook up a meal at anytime! With indoor and outdoor seating you still get to enjoy the great view together with your meal.
We requested a few vegetables from the organic farm (part of the hotel grounds) and they were just superb.
I would definately reccomend this place to anyone who loves the peace and tranqulity of a natural setting.
Finally, Alberto and his brothers are the most amazing hosts. We really felt taken care of in all aspects during our stay.
We will be back!

Beautiful location - this eco friendly, Spanish speaking only, hotel is a wonderful way to disconnect. Very peaceful, good WiFi, extremely clean, delicious breakfast and lovely hosts!

Lurdeia is situated in an incredibly beautiful location overlooking the town of Bermeo and the sea. The staff here were so lovely and accommodating and provided a lovely breakfast! I would honestly recommend so highly that you stay here!

The staff is warm and friendly, and they treat everyone with respect, care and love. The place and its surroundings are like a dream, gorgeous.

Somos de Huesca. Me aconsejó una amiga ir a Lurdeia, por lo que le doy las gracias, ya que ha sido una estancia inolvidable. El sitio es maravilloso. Todo muy bién equipado y limpio, desayunos muy buenos. Pero todo esto es gracias a los anfitriones, que con su amor y trabajo hacen posible que te sientas bien en todo momento,y que a pesar del trabajo que tienen,te dedican su tiempo para hacerte sentir cómo en casa. Muy cercanos , cariñosos, simpáticos,trabajadores.....todo lo que diga es poco. Sin duda para repetir. Gracias chicos.

El pasado fin de semana, estuvimos en Lurdeia con unos amigos, aprovechando que el lunes teniamos fiesta. No tengo palabras para describir lo bonito, autentico, respetuoso, idilico de este lugar, la gente que lo lleva, personas increibles que han hecho de sus sueño una increible realidad. Espero volver pronto y disfrutar de todo lo que ofrece la casa, el entorno y sus gentes. Inolvidable, un 10 sobre 10. Gracias amigos.

La paz que se experimenta al llegar es increíble. El trato ha sido extraordinario, te hacían sentir como en casa. Hemos pasado unos ratos estupendos en el txoco. Sin duda volveremos 😀
