San Fernando’s Castle

Nice castle with a great view of the city. Not as great as Santa Barbara, but still ok.
With a cafe on the top, you have a nice place to go if you are in Alicante.

I really enjoyed walking through this abandoned place. I’d suggest more care for it and advise it because from there everybody can join a memorable view!

Nice view, would recommend to get lunch and eat it up there.

Very nice castillo. It is not as high as Sant Barbara, but the view is still very nice and it is fun to explore the site. When I was there it was very peaceful with few people around. The entry was for free and in my opinion really worth it. I recommend to bring sunscreen or other sun protection, as there is nearly no shade.

Perfect place to go and see all the city, it's just spectacular at any time of the day. The view is incredible and it really makes you see the beutiful construction of it. If you have kids I recommend to take the elevator it's just a few euros but it's worth it. If your feel in shape going though the wall is a great work put and a lot of fun. If your ever in the city please go and have a look.

Great place for walk or take out breakfast, super chill and there are attractions for kids.

Beautiful castle offering lovely views and gardens. Unfortunately the castle is under restoration so you can not actually enter it.

Park is beautiful! The Castle is not special but the park near to it is amazing. Very quiet and green. Beautiful views. Restaurant on top of it and sport fields nearby.

Nice view point including Santa Bárbara castle. I have definitely not flown a drone here.

When you are visiting Figueres it is because of Dali's Museum, and maybe not suspecting there is an incredible additional option. This is the castle of Sant Ferran, maybe the largest fortress in Europe.

It is an excellent excuse for bringing children also. Despite the so impressing building, there are many other interesting activities, such as the 4WD vehicle transportation within the fortress gardens, and the boat 'excursion' for visiting the enormous cistern.

Take care case of claustrophobia, some paths are really narrow, and the experience on the boat is quite dark.

I have been many times in Figueres, but never suspected it was going to be this INCREDIBLE place for visiting.

This is the place which can be sometimes full of people. Good to go outside of the tourist season. Plenty to see, as it is big, and very good views from the top.

Apart from the view and the castell, you can have a real good walk with lots of stairs. you burn some good calories.

Much less crowded than St Barbara with great views and easy access.
