First, I would like to applaud the dedication of everyone involved to keep this project true to its mission, vision and values.

The teachers are not just instructors but facilitators, observing keenly and guiding the children towards their interests. Their patience and understanding are commendable, allowing each child to explore and discover in their unique way. I appreciated how they fostered a sense of community and respect among the students, encouraging collaboration and empathy.

Also, the classrooms were designed to cater to the children's natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. Children are engaged in various activities at their own pace, choosing from a plethora of materials that covered diverse subjects.

One of the standout aspects is the emphasis on practical life skills. Children are actively involved in everyday tasks, fostering independence by learning how to care for themselves and their environment. This hands-on approach instills a sense of responsibility and confidence in the students, which is wonderful to witness.

Overall, Valencia Montessori school is a nurturing and stimulating environment that honored the individuality of each child. It felt like a place where children are not just taught but empowered to become independent, curious, and compassionate individuals.

I was given an opportunity to observe a class at VMS, and I would like to share some of my observations. I was amazed how the children were able to concentrate at their work. It was an interesting experience to see the children managing their own time, working individually or in a group. The children showed hard work and concentration; and were engaged and focused that it came to a point where I can only hear silence, it was truly amazing. Kids were never distracted easily. Moreover, the children talked to each person in a respectful and polite way.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Sonia and to the team for the experience. Kudos to everyone!

There is no copyright on the term “Montessori”, anyone can open a school and call it “Montessori” without implementing an authentic program. Valencia Montessori School (VMS) is different; it’s the only true Montessori school I’ve seen in the area.

At VMS, Children are treated with kindness and respect, and are provided with differentiated lessons that not only meet their needs and interests but also spark a love for lifelong learning. The Guides (teachers) are not only trained, skilled and experienced but benevolent and empathetic, and truly care about each and every child they teach.

The facilities are beautiful and the meals are nutritious. I highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a true Montessori education for their children.

I am the father of one of the students of the Casa de Niños of Valencia Montessori School.

Our child started attending VMS at the age of 3 and this is already his third year in the school.

Before deciding on Valencia Montessori School, we did an extensive research and looked at many other schools in Valencia and surrounding area, studying on the way different reviews about them from many people. Hopefully my review will be useful for those who are in the same research.

In order to take a decision we evaluated the following: methodology, level of education, size of the schools, infrastructure and equipment, teaching staff and food/nutrition.

1. Learning Methodology: It was important for us that our child develops the skills to self-study, work in a group, independence and self-confidence. The concept of Montessori learning unleashes the child's potential in all these skills. I see how my son has changed in these three years. He began to confidently present himself, he can patiently do tasks during a long time, he developed a sense of self-control and responsibility. At the same time, as a result of his time at VMS our child has developed the criteria to choose educational activities by himself and carry them out with pleasure.

2. Level of Education: All children are different and develop at different speeds, however, at some intervals we can measure certain metrics for mastering materials. My son is starting primary school this year and I can assess his skills in math, writing, reading and general development. He received all the listed skills in Casa de Niños, and we didn't have to do any extra work with him. Thanks to the education received our child is solidly prepared to start elementary school.

3. Size of the School: We avoided large impersonal schools, it was important for us to have a close and familiar interaction with the team, with full availability for dialogue. VMS is comprised of a great team, always helpful and open to talk, quick at responding and with the ability to listen to you and your concerns and with the capability to modify things to meet your child’s and family's needs.

4. Infrastructure and Equipment: VMS is equipped with everything that we were looking for: large, spacious and luminous classrooms with big windows and an outdoor space/patio.

5. Teaching Staff: Teachers and staff have a high level of English and are very attentive, caring and knowledgeable. We are very grateful to our teacher and the assistant that have lovingly guided and accompanied our child and us in this learning and growing process. In addition, there are music, sports, English literature and other disciplines carried out in the class with specialised teachers in each of those areas.

6. Food/Nutrition: Amazingly varied menu that covers all the nutrition needs of a growing child. I even looked at many ideas for me from the menu from school. Very important for us is that the produce is made up of fresh organic fruits and vegetables and every day we receive a report of the quantity eaten by my child.

Additionally VMS provides the children with a wide variety of extra classes, excursions and a summer school during the holidays.

We are very grateful to VMS and its team for taking care of our child and offering him a very good quality of education and an open and caring attitude towards our needs.

Incredible, loving and caring atmosphere. We have felt love since our day 1 here and this love and acceptance are only growing.
The school is not only warm and caring, but also is very strong academically, fully compliant with Montessori system. Great location, fantastic facilities and devoted staff.

We joined VMS a few weeks ago, and I have to say the school and all the processes are very well organized. My 9yo enjoys going to school every day and find the school environment very friendly and motivating. Highly recommend!

Quiero agradecer y compartir la oportunidad de realizar un stage en la institución Valencia Montessori School.
Comenzó con intercambios amables y receptivos de mails, siempre dándome la bienvenida de su fundadora Sonia Mochole.
La misma le dio sentido al intercambio académico que me plantee en distintas ciudades de España como punto de partida.
Recibí las indicaciones de observación e ingreso y preparé cuidadosamente mis observaciones realizando un borrador meticuloso con una mirada atenta, respetuosa, de alta definición e idealmente 360.

Tuve la oportunidad de observar al mismo grupo de niños- multiedad -a cargo de sus dos docentes durante toda la mañana y luego al mismo grupo con la Prof. de educación física quien estaba al tanto de mi experiencia en Argentina y con quien tuvimos un tiempo para intercambiar sobre nuestra profesión. Valoro el entusiasmo del intercambio con ella, fue una alegría mutua.

Durante el stage observe el ambiente preparado, ordenado, impecable y estético con materiales acordes.
Los docentes guiando y dando sentido- en caso de ser necesaria su intervención -a los niños y niñas cuando decidían y llevaban adelante su proyecto de acción.
Muy agradecida de haber concretado este sueño que a su vez será compartido con instituciones del nivel inicial de Argentina.

Valoró al final del stage, el encuentro cálido con Sonia Mochole, Fundadora del Instituto Montessori de Valencia, quien se ha puesto a disposición para continuar compartiendo experiencias. Destaco su solidez profesional y humana, su calidez y disposición, su tiempo y celebro el clima institucional.
Esta experiencia me enriqueció, es la primera vez que tuve la oportunidad de comprobar cómo se implementa la metodología Montessori “pura”, auténtica, con un gran trabajo de equipo, que me deja repensando sobre el rol docente, la concepción de niño y aprendizaje. Así mismo, me invita a revisar las prácticas y los supuestos en nuestra comunidad sobre estos ejes.

Soy maestra de educación infantil y estuve visitando la escuela porque estoy interesada en aprender más sobre metodología Montessori. Me atendieron con mucha amabilidad, explicándome todo con mucho detalle y transparencia. Me pareció una escuela estupenda tanto por el trato y metodología, como por las instalaciones, sencillas pero muy cuidadas.

Un lugar donde aprendizaje y felicidad van de la mano, donde cada niño es único. Acompañamiento emocional y alimentación natural. No existe un proyecto educativo igual. Gracias a toda la gran familia VMS! ❤

El mayor regalo que le he hecho a mis hijos es llevarlos a este colegio. Ellos aman la escuela, a sus compañeros, a las guías, lo sienten como una segunda casa por el trato que les dan, están bien alimentados, bien cuidados, aprenden muchísimo y en definitiva todo es excelente. Estamos muy agradecidos con la escuela y sólo esperamos que el proyecto siga siendo el sueño hecho realidad de María Montessori.

Dicen que los primeros 14 años de la vida de un niño son los que marcan su personalidad y su manera de afrontar la vida cuando sean adultos! Los 7 anós de mi hija en VMS han sido espectaculares y no puedo hacer nada más que recomendar y recomendar este colegio, donde los niños son guiados a descubrirse a si mismos con mucho amor y pasión. El trato y la atención fue excepcional.
El alumnado contentísimo/a con todo lo que vieron y escucharon.

Cuando conocimos el colegio llevábamos un tiempo en "busca y captura" y fué llegar allí y nos enamoramos. Las aulas tiene el caracter de haberlas trabajado durante mucho tiempo y para una enseñanza Montessori esto es clave. Las guías trasladan ese amor y respecto tan importante para los niños, en este mundo adultocentrado. Además las reuniones y formación gratuita para padres que ofrecen de manera gratuita es una ejemplo de como la dirección busca que las familias esten totalmente implicadas en la enseñanza y educación de sus hijos, consiguiendo así niños autosuficientes y seguros. Esperamos poder disfrutar muchos años de esta escuela.

Sin duda es de lo mejor que hay en España en cuanto calidad humana y a metodología Montessori. Innovadores y siempre formándose para ofrecer a los niños un espacio donde desarrollarse al máximo. Comprometidos con la comunidad de familias y con cada niño que llega a esta escuela. Es un proyecto auténtico con una mirada única al niño... Siembran la semilla del cambio en el niño y la familia. La humanidad y profesionalidad caminan juntos aquí. Mi hija tuvo la suerte de crecer allí hasta los 3 años. Nos hemos mudado de ciudad y un año después todavía me pregunta cuando vamos a volver a su cole de Valencia... Agradezco el tiempo vivido juntos y os extrañamos! Enhorabuena por lo que hacéis cada día... Me siento muy orgullosa de haber formado parte de vuestro cole.

Como Padre creo que esta escuela es el mayor
regalo que le puedes dar a un hijo.
Las guias les dejan experimentar y decidir que tarea quieren hacer y a la vez les guian con amabilidad.
Sin embargo a pesar de la libertad los limites estan marcados y respetados siempre.
Los niños consiguen aprender todo lo necesario que se exige en otros coles pero de otra manera.
El metodo montessori en cuanto a como aprenden matematicas y otras cosas como el orden me ha encantado, Ojala lo tuvieran en todas las escuelas.
La mezcla de edades en las aulas permite que el
niño mas pequeño le haga ilusion ser ayudado por
un mayor y aprender de el y a el mayor a sentirse
orgulloso y realizado de ayudar a alguien de 1 año
menor. Ellos se ayudan y se regulan.
El equipo y direccion del Cole es cercano y estan
abiertos a ayudar y a cualquier sugerencia. Es para
mi como una gran familia. Una suerte de verdad
estar en esta Escuela de educacion y vida, *

Estoy encantada con este colegio.
Cada año que pasamos en el me gusta aún más.
Es metodología montessori 100x100 . Y es una pena que lo confundan con otros coles que mezclan todo ,eso confunde a los padres y acaban por creer que en montessori es dejarles hacer lo que les da la gana no siendo así para NADA. Este colegio es lo más montessori que se puede encontrar y estoy inmensamente feliz de haber tenido la gran oportunidad de que mi hijo pueda ser parte de el. Va a ser su segundo año y es increíble su crecimiento personal y el mio con él porque no decirlo, ya que no sólo guian a los alumnos también a los padres! Nos ayudan muchísimo con la educación también en casa puesto que somos una comunidad. También quiero hacer incapie en la alimentación que ofrecen. El menú está ha cargo del cocinero y chef Juan Llorca y es brutal !!! Soy inmensamente feliz al poder llevar a mi hijo cada año !!!
