MAS BERNAD holiday farmhouse

What an amazing an tranquil house and surroundings! Everything was just perfect and we had a spectacular time. Ignatio was super helpful and friendly! And the kids loved it!!

Beautiful spot, prefect for families with a fenced pool, lovely grassy garden, toys and books and puzzles, even baby gates for the stairs. BBQ and sauna also great. Nice and modern inside but still has that country retreat feel. Will be back again and again!

Ignacio was a great host. We booked through Airbnb and it was awesome. The place is well updated with a modern and rustic feel at the same time. There is a sauna, pool outdoor BBQ grill. The host was super helpful, responded very quickly to inquiries through WhatsApp. I highly recommend it! We stayed here for 3 days out of an 8 day trip to Barcelona/Catalan country.

First things first: the beds are extremely comfortable, the couches are cosy and even though it was January we were always warm thanks to the heating and the wonderful open fire.

Location: the house is in the countryside so it's really quiet but it's also really close to towns and villages when you need them. Picking up supplies in Banyoles is really quick. Before you reach the centre of town there is a petrol station and supermarkets (plus the Girona bus stop). We found this really convenient. We parked in Banyoles and went to Girona by bus, which was cheap and really quick. In addition, Figueres, Besalu and the coast are also really close.

At the farmhouse: a good deal of thought has gone in to making the house as comfortable as possible. The appliances are top-end and the art is stunning. The pool looks inviting, the sun was shining but it was January!

Ignasi: our host really knows the area well and speaks impeccable English. The standard of food here is exceptional and Ignasi can provide invaluable advice such as local markets for cheese and vegetables.

In conclusion: it was lovely in winter; I suspect each season will reveal new beauty to Mas Bernad.

Mas Bernad is Paradise! A beautiful house in the most picturesque setting. Everything has been taken into consideration by Ignacio, to makes one's holiday an absolute delight.

Lovely nice features in and around the house and with the sauna a very nice place to stay also in wintertime. For sure we will come back!

Casa alucinante, se merece más que un 10!
La decoración exquisita, los muebles y todo nuevo, la limpieza impoluta, infinidad de detalles que vas descubriendo día a día. Fuimos en familia y han sido unas vacaciones estupendas. Tenemos un niño y había muchísimas cosas para él, todo adaptado al bebé, des de trona, vajilla, rincón en el salón con numerosos juegos y juguetes.
La piscina espectacular, no le falta de nada.
Habíamos leído la buena crítica que tiene y las fotos pero en directo es mucho mejor de lo que se ve y más bonita.
Solo me queda felicitar a Ignasi por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera excelente y por crear y compartir espacios tan mágicos como este. Gracias!

No tenemos palabras para decir lo maravillosa que es la casa y lo fantástica que fue nuestra estancia en Mas Bernad. La casa una alucinante por donde la mires, el exterior increíble, no le falta ni un detalle a nada. Ignacio, una persona maravillosa!! De verdad que volveremos a repetir, sin ninguna duda, gracias por todo!!!

Alojamiento increíble! La casa es preciosa y no le falta absolutamente de nada, está llena de detalles y sorpresas. Todo estaba super limpio, ordenado y decorado con mucho gusto. Tiene piscina privada, sauna, campos para jugar a bádminton, a la petanca y fútbol. Solo tenemos cosas buenas que decir de este lugar. Es un 10 de 10! Muchas gracias por todo Ignasi, seguro que volveremos!!

Ya es nuestra segunda estancia en Mas Bernad. Esta vez en invierno y tan bien o mejor que la anterior. Llovió pero entre la sauna, la “llar de foc” y los juegos para los niños lo pasamos muy bien. La casa impecable. Sin duda repetiremos.

Fantàtico alojamiento. Una casa con todos los detalles para vivir unos días de descanso total. A destacar la calidez de los materiales constructivos y el fantástico exterior con barbacoa, piscina y sauna.

Limpio la piscina hago los mantenimientos un buen lugar para ir de fin de semana lugar muy tranquilo y agradable
