La Volta del Rector

32 Euros. After finishing one of the best meals ive had in a while i couldnt believe that it cost so little in a day and age where restaurants will try to separate you from your money by giving you garbage.

La Volta del Rector stands above the rest. The huevos estrellados and the parmesan canelone were probably the best ive ever had, and ive been living in spain for 30 years.

The ribs were succulent, tender and fell right off the bone. Perfectly seasoned as well.

The owner greeted everyone and explained the dishes so you knew exactly what you were ordering. The wait staff was quick, attentive and professional always with a smile.

If you are near Cardona, go out of your way to eat here. But make a reservation or you might not get a table!

Delicious food, great service. Try the eggs, I had a decadent dish with lobster. Amazing.

Incredible food. 30€ menu consisting of bread, water, wine, starter, main dish and dessert. All the dishes we ordered were very good and the whole meal was filling.

Excellent food and very friendly service. Ample choice and the cook Antonia goes out of her way to satisfy even the most demanding clients. And all that at a bargain. Outstanding price-quality relation!

Brilliant evening. Great food. Great staff... realising that we were English they rewrote their menu from Catalan to English for us. How's that for service!

Just wonderful.

Lugar agradable en el centro histórico de Cardona...el servicio muy atento y recomendando lo mejor del menú, con explicación detallada de los platos..la comida con sabor y calidad, con productos de proximidad y muy recomendable el plato de huevos.. los caracoles y su salsa de mojar pan....el local es acogedor y con adornos muy originales. Los postres espectaculares, el arroz con leche supremo..
La calidad con el precio están muy bien..lugar recomendable se ruega reservar para garantizar un lugar y disfrutar de su gran menú..

Hemos comido hoy viernes santo, cuando hemos hecho la reserva nos han dicho que tenían doble turno el de las 13h y el de las 15h. En nuestro caso hemos comido en el segundo. Aún habiendo doble turno nos hemos sorprendido. Por la rápidez, amabilidad y profesionalidad. Destacar la cocina, que nos hemos chupado los dedos, que platos por favor. Y la atención de todo el personal de sala ESPECTACULAR. Para como estaba el restaurante de lleno nos hemos ido con ganas de volver.

Increïble descoberta gastronòmica. Un restaurant elegant en una ciutat Increïble com es Cardona. Acollidor i amb un tracte impecable per part dels empleats. El menjar és espectacular.
No dubteu en tastar els pèsols negres amb cansalada, el moltó de xai amb sorpresa, els ous ferrats amb sobrasada i porc amb camagrocs.
Merci per la millor hora i mitja dins un restaurant. Tornarem.

Vem menjar molt a gust.
Li poso un 5/5 perque tot va estar molt bé: menú de cap de setmana molt i molt complet, amb plats elaborats i molt originals; tracte i servei excel•lent i prou ràpid; un local molt ben decorat i amb llum tènue que acompanya molt.
