Hostal Maracaibo

A simple, yet very nice hostel. I was able to get a double room with an en-suite bathroom for 35€ when on my Camino. No reservation; I just walked in and asked if they had rooms available.

This great chap was a lovely host and really looked after us well. He went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and happy. I forgot an item and even though he was closed the next day, he drove back and opened up to let me have the item back. I am very grateful for this and this makes it a 5* for me.

Food: 4/5
Big portions and great food. The bread was the best bread I have ever had. Only 4/5 due to small vegetarian options.

Facilities: 3/5
Suitable for camino as you stay only 1 night. Larger rooms had washing machine facilities. No air-conditioning in any room and can be noisy outside.

Stayed a night during our camino. The room is simple and cozy but spotlessly clean, a good bed, central location and good value. Can't fault it for what we needed

The BEST caldo I have ever had on my Camino!!! It was about 5pm-ish and it was NOT the time you could find any restaurant nor bar for a proper hot meal. Being a 'peregrina', after walking 20 something kms, I jst had to fill my tummy with nice hot meal to really gain some energy after I arrived in the town. Fernando was super nice to offer me a bowl of caldo and i still thank him so much for that!! 포르투갈길 걸으시는 순례자분들은 꼭 바에 들러서 따듯한 야채수프 한그릇 드시고 가세요^3^

Great Location and service

Nos alojamos con mi madre en el paso del camino desde Tui y súper recomendable.
Las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas. Servicio muy bueno, están para todo lo qué necesites. Y lo mejor no tienes qué buscar ningún sitio para comer, allí se come genial.

Alojamiento a un precio razonable con una buenas instalaciones. El bar y comida, también a buen precio y calidad.
El trato del personal, muy familiar, amable y atento. Sitio recomendable y para repetir.

Estuvimos un día del camino de Santiago, el trato excelente, la cocina de diez y raciones abundantes. Felicitar a la cocinera M José, a Fernando detrás de la barra y a Luz con una sonrisa eterna en el servicio de mesas y el hostal.

Hostal muy limpio con una atención excelente. Además cuenta con bar/cafetería donde sirven tapas muy ricas. Totalmente recomendable

Motivos de trabajo me traen hasta Porriño cada cierto tiempo, encontrar el Maracaibo ha sido una suerte, habitaciónes limpias, cómodas y con aire acondicionado, abre pronto para desayunar y una carta con lo justo, pero que no te falte de nada para cenar, todo preparado con cariño, también hacen bocatas y burguer. Gracias Fernando!!!!

Um sítio encantador y súper comodo. Estábamos en un grupo y nos sentimos como en casa.
Fernando es adorable y su hija Luz es una Luz en el Camino🌟 Un equipo atento y amable. un lugar para descansar y reponer energías y traer alegría a la continuación del viaje o peregrinación🙏 ¡Es para repetir y disfrutar! ¡Volveremos y lo recomendaremos.! Hasta pronto🥰

Zu dem Hostal kann ich nichts sagen, weil wir hier nur zu Abend gegessen haben. Aber das lohnt in jedem Fall! Luz nahm sich sehr viel Zeit uns in Ruhe die Karte zu erklären, weil wir einige Gerichte nicht kannten. Und das Essen war toll, speziell hervorzuheben ist das Roxa, die Calamares und die Champignons mit Knoblauch. Emofehlung :)

Bocatas,... cafés.... cañitas... en fin mucha variedad muy buenos por ciero... recomendado.

Nos hemos alojado 7 peregrinos en esta pensión, no tenemos ni una sola queja de ningún tipo. Agradecer a Fernando y colaboradores por la atención recibida. Desayuno espectacular. Recomendable 100%.

Hemos estado estas navidades y ha sido una experiencia total. El trato exquisito , amables , súper limpio, la comida muy buena , total un hallazgo de joya.
