I had a really amazing stay here. I got upgraded to a junior suite, and the room was absolutely amazing. The rooftop pool was great to have, I ended up spending so much time there. It was very spacious with plenty of loungers. Breakfast had good options (make sure you reserve your time, it can get crowded!), and the location of the hotel is really nice and walkable to so many places of interest - center of town, the park, beach, etc. There’s also a bus stop right in front of the hotel if you prefer to explore that way.

Overall I loved my stay, but if I had a few pieces of feedback it’d be for the pool to open up a bit earlier than 11am (especially for those of us who like to swim in the mornings as a workout) and for the rooms to have a free coffee/tea bar, which I was surprised not to have.

My wife and I spent three days and two nights here for our wedding anniversary and could not have been happier with the choice.

The staff were very warm and welcoming and despite them all speaking English they put up with us trying to speak in Spanish.

The room was fantastic and the view from our room was outstanding.

The pool was excellent and catered for every person's needs, including people with disability.

The food in the restaurant was exquisite and really celebrated local cuisine.

The location to nearby attractions was fantastic with all in easy walking distance.

Compared to city hotels in UK this is a bargain and well worth every penny spent.

We will be back, again and again.

High quality large hotel with excellent views, large patios, and luxury-style rooms. Beautiful pool area, close walk to a swimming beach. A little out of the city center by maybe a 10 or 15 minute walk. The staff were great.

We loved this hotel! Such fabulous views of the sea and the bay, there were modern and comfortable rooms, and an incredible breakfast room with a view of the water! The breakfast was also incredible, with freshly made omelettes, huge buffet, as well as cava for mimosas! The reception staff were wonderful and we felt well cared for during our stay. I definitely want to return!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parador de Cadiz. Clean, comfortable, quiet room overlooking park with partial ocean view. Very convenient short walk to historic centre and sites. Friendly, helpful staff.

We have been wondering the whole time from arrival, during and after our stay why this hotel is not a 5 star property. Arrival and parking convenient. Smoothly checked in. Since it was our first honeymoon night the front desk lady kindly arranged a room with a great sunset 🌇 view and even upgraded us. It was in addition my wife's birthday the day of our stay so what a lovely present. The rooms are very well designed. Smart! Already the standard rooms because of the open and clever layout of the room and bathroom give you a luxurious feeling. Lightning and controlling the curtains can be a bit of a hassle. Compared to other Paradores we truly were impressed here by the staff members being very attentive, friendly and warm. Breakfast was a pleasure. Spa and pool looks amazing. Sunset was a 10.
Highly recommended and hopefully back some day. Thanks to all at the Paradore Cadiz.

We have just spent a week at this hotel and it was wonderful.
Modern , lovely rooms, nice bathroom, great beds, very quiet rooms. Fantastic views from the balcony, great pool area. Its in a super location convenient for the bars and restaurants of Cadiz. It also has a great bar to take in the sunset.

Came to this hotel after an absolutely horrible experience at Hotel Cadiz Bahia (stay clear of that hotel, it’s full of bugs and really awful customer service) and my only regret was not having booked it earlier!

Hotel Parador was perfect — they had underground parking for 19€/night which is a bit expensive but on the other hand they would allow us to take out the car any time we would want to the day after. Which we really appreciated.

The rooms were very clean, quiet and with great views. The bed mattress was very comfortable too. And the breakfast buffet was with a big variety of food options and a small list of options they would cook specifically for whomever wants. Really nice.

If you're looking for a great base in Cadiz this is the place to stay. Rooms have a great sea view and ask for one overlooking la calleta beach. They are well appointed with a Chromecast in the TV and trendy bathrooms with mood lighting. The hotel has an enviable position right at the top of the old town. Nothing is too far to walk to if you're fit and healthy. It has three great looking pools that would be great but unfortunately they are out of service which is the only negative I can find. Apart from the fact we weren't told this in advance of our stay. But otherwise it's a great base and I'm sure we will be back soon.

The Parador of Cadiz offers a fantastic experience. The location, right by the ocean, is breathtaking. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the sea views are a real highlight. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, particularly fresh seafood. The staff is friendly and helpful, making your stay enjoyable. It's a great place to unwind and explore Cadiz.

A very pleasant week's stay. The hotel has a modern architecture, so it is a bit different from the atmosphere of the city, but I find it aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are spacious and the bedding comfortable! The location of the hotel offers a beautiful view, but at the cost of being a bit out of the way of the city's bustle.
The swimming pools and deckchairs are very pleasant, with the added bonus of a rather nice view of the sea.
The staff are friendly, perhaps a little distant but nothing to worry about. A gym is available, although small, it is well equipped.
For the breakfast, I found my account there, in particular with the choice of fruits and breads. A small remark however for the coffee machines in place, please change these things, the coffee that comes out of these small capsules is infamous. Fortunately, the staff offer "filter" coffee, which is much better.
I recommend if you want a hotel with rather premium standards. The final price is still a bit high though, especially as we only chose breakfast, so you have to eat out, and the food offer is not always amazing.

Lovely hotel with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was minimalist and practical with plenty of sunlight and a good level of cleanliness.

Cadiz is the oldest city in Europe. The old part of Cadiz is small. It’s like on island on its own as such its very walkable. The Parador hotel is situated in an ideal spot to always be able to get back to the hotel without a long walk. The Parador hotel in Cadiz is a modern looking building sandwiched between historical buildings on the tip of the city overlooking the ocean. The hotel was built about 10 years ago on the site of another hotel. Next to the hotel is also a beautiful garden dating to the late 1800’s, early 1900’s. Entering the hotel from the underground parking garage (parking is for a fee), you enter a spacious if not cavernous building. The staff were friendly and ensured that we were taken care of immediately. As we had arrived very early in the morning, they stored our luggage until the room was ready thus allowing us to explore the city. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed. The bed occupies the center of the room with the bathroom, shower, and closets behind the bed and its free-standing headboard and combination desk. The whole window to the balcony opens wide giving the feeling of being outside rather than a window or single door. The balcony in our room overlooked the massive swimming pools. I say pools because there are 4. A large jacuzzi pool, a large swimming pool and two wading pools. The pools are surrounded by a large deck with ample lounge chairs. There are also views of the ocean from the pool deck. As well, there is a heated indoor pool, a gym, a children’s play area (on the opposite side of the pools so guests would not see or hear the children). The breakfast buffet area is also large and the wait is minimal for a table. The choice of food is extensive including a chef station for eggs. There is a fine dining restaurant as well as a another less formal dining and siting area with a bar. The fine dining restaurant provided a fine meal with wonderful service and a view to the ocean. All the major sights of Cadiz are a short walk from the hotel. All in all, a very comfortable, luxurious, and well-appointed hotel which I highly recommend experiencing of you are travelling to Cadiz.

Nicely placed hotel making touristic easy. Rooms are very modern but not particularly comfortable - hot in the afternoon, limited bathroom privacy, uncomfortable headboards.

A lovely place to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had something for everyone. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The pool was sparkling clean, however the temperature was a bit chilly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Second time staying at this hotel in Cadiz, we were not disappointed. Attention to detail, abundantly appointed with conveniences, and gorgeous marble surfaces in our sea side junior suite: rooms 332 and 432. Gorgeous sunsets make it a must stay!! Sit on the balcony, open a bottle of wine, and savor the whole experience.
